Abstract: A self-diagnosing apparatus for self-diagnosing the operating state of a refrigerator and indicating the necessity of a remedy if an abnormality is present. First, a plurality of quantities of state are measured and stored in a memory section (7) for a predetermined period. The quantities of state or a diagnostic operation value operated based on the quantities of state is then compared with a specified threshold value by a diagnostic means of a diagnostic operation value deciding section (10), and a decision is made whether the operating state is normal or not based on the comparison results. The quantities of state stored in the memory means for a predetermined past period may be employed for the diagnosis. If a decision is made that the operating state is abnormal, a remedy for that state is selected and displayed by an output means. The reliability of diagnosis can be enhanced furthermore by making a diagnosis again upon elapsing a predetermined time after the initial diagnosis and displaying a remedy based on the results of rediagnosis from the output means.

Abstract: To provide a self-diagnosing apparatus for a refrigerator which self-diagnoses an operation condition and advises a user of an appropriate improvement action if there is an abnormal condition, first, detecting means such as the inside temperature sensor 1 detect a plurality of condition-indicative quantities with respect to the refrigerator, and the condition-indicative quantities are stored in the memory part 7 for a predetermined period. Diagnosis means such as the diagnosis calculation value judging part 10 compare the condition-indicative quantities or a diagnosis calculation value which is calculated based on the condition-indicative quantities with a predetermined threshold value, and judges whether the operation condition of the refrigerator is normal or abnormal based on a result of the comparison. At this stage, if the condition-indicative quantities covering the predetermined past period which are stored in the memory means are used as the condition-indicative quantities for the diagnose, it is possible to accurately diagnose without influence of a condition-indicative quantity which suddenly appears. When it is judged that there is an abnormal condition as a result of the diagnosis, an improvement action which is preliminarily determined for the abnormal condition is selected. The selected action is displayed visually or as a sound by the outputting means such as the sound outputting part 14. Where a re-diagnosis is executed after a predetermined time since the abovementioned diagnosis and the outputting means output the improvement action based on a result of the re-diagnosis, it is possible to diagnose with an enhanced reliability.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To diagnose and analyse a household electrical appliance so as to enhance its serviceability by using a portable hardware part which can be carried regarding an automatic diagnostic and analytical system, for the household electric apparatus, by which a component failure part can be analyzed when the household electric apparatus is broken down. SOLUTION: Operation-state data 1 on a refrigerator which is used daily, actual-usage-environment data 2 on the refrigerator which is used actually and component data 3 on components constituting the refrigerator are stored in a data-acquisition control part 4. The stored data are accessed by a portable hardware part 5 through the data-acqusition control part 4 and an interface part 13. By using the operation-state data 1, the actual-usage-environment data 2 and the component data 3 which are accessed by the portable hardware part 5, and the refrigerator is diagnosed and analyzed inside the portable hardware part 5. Thereby, a component failure part is specified so as to be displayed on a failure-part output part 6, a failure-cause output part 7 or a failure-content output part 8.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a super-cooling in operation to cause an inner side of a refrigerator chamber to become a super-cooled state and to decrease a degree of freshness of foods during a fast freezing operation, in particular, when a surrounding air temperature is low, by a method wherein an air circulating blower is operated. SOLUTION: This device has a surrounding air temperature sensing means 25 and a rapid freezing switch input discriminating means 20. When the rapid freezing switch is turned on under a low surrounding air temperature, an air circulating blower 14 is operated by an air circulating blower control means 27. In addition, there are provided the surrounding air temperature sensing means 25, the rapid freezing switch input discriminating means 20 and a refrigerator temperature sensing means. When the rapid freezing switch is turned on under the low surrounding air temperature, the air circulating blower 14 is operated under the refrigerator chamber temperature by the air circulating blower control means.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To perform a proper flowing of refrigerant of high temperature in a heat radiation pipe and to prevent a dew formation of an outer case without stopping an operation of a compressor for a long period of time after a forced continuous rapid cooling operation is carried out. CONSTITUTION:There is provided a refrigerator temperature sensing means 5 for sensing a temperature within the refrigerator. After a rapid cooling switch 6 is turned on, a compressor 2 is forcedly and continuously operated for a predetermined period of time, thereafter the compressor 2 is stopped, a refrigerator temperature sensing means 5 detects a predetermined temperature set to be lower than a set temperature for controlling temperature in a normal state or a predetermined increasing in temperature is detected after completion of the rapid cooling operation and again the compressor 2 is forcedly operated continuously for a predetermined period of time and then the operation is returned back to its normal temperature adjusting control.
