Abstract: PURPOSE:To avoid an increase of the driving loss of an oil pump in all the area, and to secure the lubricating oil pressure according to the request of a supercharger in the supercharging area, while to prevent a lubrication shortage owing to the reduction of the hydraulic pressure at a high temperature time in the nonsupercharging area, in an engine which has a supercharger operating in a specific operating area. CONSTITUTION:A controller 30 to operate a relief valve 18 in the nonsupercharging area in an engine operating time when the lubricating oil pressure is not reduced, to control the lubricating oil pressure to a low value, so as to prevent the lubricating oil pressure from increasing more than the necessary value, and to prohibit the reduction control of the lubricating oil pressure in the nonsupercharging area, after a warm-up operation of the engine to reduce the lubricating oil pressure less than a set value is finished, is provided.

CONSTITUTION:An engine E is provided with a shutter valve 25 in which first and second branch air intake passages 20A and 20B are provided, the first branch air intake passage 20A is opened in the overall engine operating range of the engine, the second branch air intake passage 20B connected to an EGR passage 36 is opened to the low load and low speed range of the engine. A control unit ECU, when the shutter valve 25 is opened in a condition that the exhaust circulating gas is introduced into the second branch air intake passage 20B, increases the amount of fuel largely more than when the shutter valve 25 is opened in a condition that the exhaust circulating gas is not introduced to advance the ignition timing largely and inject fuel only from an fuel injection nozzle 8 of the first branch air intake passage 20A.
