    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polypropylene film excellent in low-temp. sealability by compound an ethylene-α-olefin random copolymer having specified density and flow rate with a crystalline polypropylene in a specified wt. ratio. SOLUTION: Ethylene and a 5-20C α-olefin are copolymerized in the presence of a metallocene catalyst to give an ethylene-α-olefin copolymer which has a density of 0.870-0.900g/cm and a melt flow rate (190 deg.C, 2.16kg load) of 0.01-50g/10min and satisfies the relation that when 0.885 Tm>=(14d/15)×1,000-744 and, when 0.870 Tm ); and Tm ( deg.C) is the temp. of the max. peak position in the endothermic curve obtd. with a differential scanning calorimeter]. The copolymer is kneaded together with a crystalline polypropylene in a wt. ratio of (5:95)-(60:40) and formed into a film by the T-die method, etc., to give the objective polypropylene film.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a resin composition excellent in adhesion to a polyolefin resin and heat stability, by mixing a lowly crystalline random propylene copolymer specified in component composition, intrinsic viscosity and crystallinity with a tackifier. CONSTITUTION:An adhesive composition comprises 30-70wt.% lowly crystalline random propylene copolymer (A) which is a propylene random copolymer comprising propylene-derived units (a), ethylene-derived repeating units (b) and 4-20C alpha-olefin-derived repeating units (c), wherein (i) said units (a), (b) and (c) are present in amounts of 40-90mol.%, 2-40mol.%, and 10-40mol.% respectively and the c to (b+c) molar ratio is in the range of 0.1-0.9, (ii) the intrinsic viscosity [eta] as measured in decalin at 135 deg.C is in the range of 0.1-7dl/g and (iii) the crystallinity as measured by X-ray diffraction method is in the range of 5-40%, and 70-30wt.% tackifier (B).

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a polypropylene compsn. which has improved transparency and impact resistance and is freed from the problem of low-temperature britteness, by blending a propylene polymer with a copolymer of ethylene with a small quantity of alpha-olefin. CONSTITUTION:A polyolefin compsn. consists of 95-40pts.wt. propylene polymer (a) and 5-60pts.wt. copolymer (b) of ethylene with a small quantity of a 4-10C alpha-olefin, which has a melt flow rate (ASTM D 1238, E) of 0.01-50g/10min, a density of 0.870-0.905g/cm , a composition distribution parameter (U) of 40 or below [wherein U=100X{(weight-average degree of branching)/(number- average degree of branching}-1], an average chain length ratio of methylene groups of 200 or below and the max. m.p. of 105-125 deg.C as measured with a differential scanning calorimeter (DSC).

    Abstract: PURPOSE:The title polymerization for conducting a continuous polymerization reaction smoothly for a long time, having an inside wall which is formed so that the cross-sectional area of the apparatus increases gradually from the place just above a gas dispersing plate to a zone for a fluidized bed formation. CONSTITUTION:In a polymerization tank for vapor-phase olefin polymerization, having a gas blowing section 2 having an inlet conduit 5 for an olefin-containing gas, a gas dispersing plate 9 provided at the lower part so as to separate the blowing section 2 from a zone for a fluidized bed formation; a gas exit conduit 6 on the top, a passage for withdrawing the formed polymer from the zone 3 and a supply conduit of a polymerization catalyst; the inside wall is so formed at an angle of elevation alpha of 75-90 deg. that the cross-sectional area of the reaction tank increases gradually from the place just above the dispersing plate 9 to the upper part b of the zone, whereby the superficial velocity of gas near the place just above the dispersing plate 9 is increased, and the superficial velocity of gas decreases as the gas moves toward the upper part b of the zone 3.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a polyamide resin composition excellent in melt flow property; i.e., moldability and capable of providing a molding excellent in flexibility, impact resistance to low temperature, resistance to water absorption and resistance to chlorine water.     Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a protection film having excellent flexibility, transparency, heat-resistance, etc., and exhibiting moderate adhesivity and peelability to an adherend by compounding a specific propylene.1-butene random copolymer with a specific amount of a tackifier. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is produced by compounding (A) 100 pts.wt. of a propylene.1-butene random copolymer having a melt index of 0.1-100g/10min, a propylene content of 60-85mol% and a heat of crystal melting of 20-80Joule/g by DSC and produced by using a catalyst composed of a solid titanium catalyst and an organic metal compound, etc., with (B) 0.5-20 pts.wt. of one or more kinds of tackifiers selected from aliphatic hydrocarbon resins, low-molecular weight styrene resins, rosin-based hydrocarbon resins, etc. The objective peelable protection film is a monolayered or multilayered film wherein at least one of the outermost surface layers is composed of the above composition.
