Abstract: A Ni-base directionally solidified superalloy or a Ni-base single crystal superalloy, characterized in that it has a composition, in wt %: Al: 5.0 to 7.0 %, Ta+Nb+Ti: 4.0 to 16.0 %, Mo: 1.0 to 4.5 wt %, W: 4.0 to 8.0 wt %, Re: 3.0 to 8.0 wt %, Hf: 2.0 wt % or less, Cr: 10.0 % or less, Co: 15.0 % or les s, Ru: 1.0 to 4.0 wt %, C: 0.2 wt % or less, B: 0.03 %, and balance: Ni and inevitable impurities. The Ni-base base directionally solidified superalloy or single crystal superalloy has an enhanced creep strength at high temperature s, and thus can be used for a turbine blade, a turbine vane and the like of a g as turbine for use in a jet engine or for industrial use.

The nickel alloy comprises 11.5%-11.9% by mass Cr, 25%-29% by mass Co, 3.4%-3.7% by mass Mo, 1.9%-2.1% by mass W, 3.9%-4.4% by mass Ti, 2.9%-3.2% by mass Al, 0.02%-0.03% by mass C, 0.01%-0.03% by mass B, 0.04%-0.06% by mass Zr, 2.1%-2.2% by mass Ta, 0.3%-0.4% by mass Hf, 0.5%-0.8% by mass Nb, with the remainder comprising Ni and unavoidable impurities; and includes carbide and boride precipitated in the crystal grains and in the crystal grain boundaries.

Abstract: Provided is an Ni-based single crystal superalloy wherein the ingredients have a composition containing, as ratio by mass, from 5.0% by mass to 7.0% by mass of Al, from 4.0% by mass to 8.0% by mass of Ta, from 0% by mass to 2.0% by mass of Mo, from 3.0% by mass to 8.0% by mass of W, from 3.0% by mass to 8.0% by mass of Re, from 0% by mass to 0.50% by mass of Hf, from 3.0% by mass to 6.0% by mass of Cr, from 0% by mass to 9.9% by mass of Co, from 1.0% by mass to 14.0% by mass of Ru, and from 0.1 % by mass to 4.0% by mass of Nb, with the balance of Ni and inevitable impurities. The alloy prevents TCP phase precipitation at high temperatures, therefore having improved strength at high temperatures and having oxidation resistance at high temperatures. Specifically, the invention is to provide a high-performance Ni-based single crystal superalloy having well balanced high-temperature strength and high-temperature oxidation resistance in practical use. The invention is also to provide the Ni-based single crystal superalloy having sufficient characteristics in point of "heat treatment window" that should not be overlooked in practical use.
