Abstract:
A terminal device 102 includes a transmission/reception unit 306 that transmits, to a server device 101, information necessary for judgment as to whether to permit use of content. The server device 101 includes: a judgment unit 204 that judges whether to permit the terminal device 102 to use the content, based on terminal device management information set by a content provider, and the information necessary for the judgment and received from the terminal device 102; a notification data storage unit 203 that stores notifications to be presented to a user of the terminal device 102; and a transmission/reception unit 205 that transmits either information necessary for use of the content or one of the notifications according to a result of the judgment by the judgment unit 204.
Abstract:
Provided is a new-type recordable DVD medium characterized in having medium characteristics not defined in the DVD-R standards and having compatibility with the DVD-ROM standards. Since information on the new-type recordable DVD medium can be played back by an existing player, even when content data protected by CSS (Content Scrambling System) is recorded on the new-type recordable DVD medium, the recordable DVD medium can be used for content distribution service using a kiosk terminal.
Abstract:
A License Management Apparatus, see FIG. 2. Each Audio Object (AOB) is put in correspondence with a Migrate Permission Flag (MPF) which is set to ON to show that a migration procedure is permitted. When a Right Management Information (RMI) does not exist for an AOB the MPF is set to OFF to show that a migration procedure is not permitted.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk in which stereoscopic videos and high-quality video signals are recorded and to provide a system for reproducing the optical disk, the optical disk and the system being made compatible with a conventional system which reproduces an ordinary video.SOLUTION: A reproducing device which is used for reproducing stereoscopic videos and high-quality videos obtains a stereoscopic video or a high-quality video by reproducing both first and second interleaved blocks on the optical disk 1 in which a first video signal and a second video signal are divided into frame groups of one GOP (Group of Picture) or more and recorded alternately on right and left sides, and a reproducing device which is not used for reproducing the stereoscopic videos and the high-quality videos obtains the ordinary video by reproducing only the first or second interleaved blocks by jumping tracks.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve compatibility with a conventional system for reproducing an ordinary video, in an optical disc having three-dimensional video and high-image-quality video signal recorded therein, and a system for reproducing them. SOLUTION: A first video signal and a second video signal are each divided into one GOP (group of picture) or more frame groups; and, for interleave blocks recorded alternately laterally on an optical disc 1, a three dimension/high image quality-respondent reproduction apparatus reproduces both the first and second interleave blocks, so that a three-dimensional or high-image-quality video is obtained, and a three dimension/high image quality-nonrespondent reproduction apparatus reproduces only the first or second interleave block by applying a track jump, so that an ordinary video is obtained. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disc having three-dimensional video and high resolution video signal recorded and a system for reproducing them, which are compatible with a conventional system for reproducing an ordinary resolution picture. SOLUTION: A first video signal and a second video signal are separated into 1 GOP or more frames, and the resultant interleave blocks are recorded alternately on an optical disc 1. A three-dimensional/high resolution reproduction apparatus reproduces both the first and the second interleave blocks, so that a three-dimensional or high resolution video is obtained. A non-three-dimensional/high resolution reproduction apparatus reproduces only the first or second interleave block by applying a track jump, so that an ordinary resolution video is obtained.
