Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for transmitting and processing channel state information (CSI) reference signals (CSI-RS). An exemplary method includes determining a configuration of channel state information reference signals (CSI-RSs), wherein the configuration indicates a set of resource elements (REs) to be used for CSI-RSs and a first mapping of CSI-RS ports to the set of REs; sending an indication of the configuration of the CSI-RSs; and transmitting the CSI-RSs according to the determined configuration.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications in a multiple bandwidth part environment are described. In response to a serving beam failure in an active bandwidth part, the UE may determine a level of support provided by the active bandwidth part for a random access procedure, and may determine a contingency (e.g. fallback) bandwidth part that supports the random access procedure. In some cases, the UE may identify the contingency bandwidth as an initial bandwidth part used by the UE for a prior random access procedure. In some cases, the base station may send to the UE, an explicit indication of the contingency bandwidth part. In some cases, the UE may identify the contingency bandwidth part based on a reference signal. Upon determining the contingency bandwidth part, the UE may perform the random access procedure using the contingency bandwidth part.

The electromagnetic absorbing material may be attached to a bottom of the PCB and/or coaxially attached to the stub.

Abstract: In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus may be a UE. The UE receives RSs from a base station. Abstract: Methods, systems, devices, and apparatus for wireless communication are described that relate to transmission of a set of precoded reference signals, and using a physical resource group (PRG) size for the resources carrying the set of reference signals for channel estimation at a user equipment (UE). For example, a base station may apply a precoding matrix to a set of reference signals, and the reference signals may be configured on a set of resources. In such cases, the resources including these reference signals having a same precoding may be included in a PRG, and a size of the PRG may refer to a number of precoded reference signals for which the precoding is the same. Based on the received reference signals and the PRG size the UE may perform channel estimation based on the PRG size and transmit channel state information (CSI) to the base station.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to a transmitting device, which may explicitly or implicitly signal the use of continuous precoding for a resource block (RB) cluster. For example, the transmitting device may implicitly indicate that continuous precoding is applied to an RB cluster by dynamically controlling one or more parameters of a transmission over those RBs. Further, when continuous precoding is applied to an RB cluster, the transmitting device may explicitly or implicitly signal the dynamic control over one or more transmission properties, with an aim to maximize the benefits of such continuous precoding.
