Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques and apparatus for determining a transmit power based on a pattern and/or future conditions for a transmission while maintaining radio frequency (RF) exposure compliance. An example method generally includes obtaining a pattern associated with one or more first transmissions, determining a transmit power for one or more second transmissions based at least in part on the pattern and an RF exposure limit, and transmitting the one or more second transmissions at the determined transmit power.

Abstract: Aspects are provided which allow a multi-SIM UE to experience improved performance following a dedicated data subscription (DDS) switch, by preventing data interruptions in the network associated with a DDS SIM of the UE due to frequent paging requests in the network associated with a non-DDS SIM of the UE. The UE supports a first connection associated with a first subscription and a second connection associated with a second subscription, where the first subscription comprises a DDS. The UE switches the DDS from the first subscription to the second subscription, and disconnects the first connection following the switching. In an additional aspect, the UE reconnects the first connection after the disconnecting. As a result, the UE may no longer receive paging from the network associated with the first subscription (the new, non-DDS SIM), thereby preventing data interruptions in the network associated with the new DDS SIM and improving performance.

Abstract: Wireless communication techniques for antenna-switched diversity and multi-SIM concurrent operation management are discussed. A UE may communicate via a transmission path associated with a first subscriber identification module (SIM). The transmission path may be mapped to one of a first one or more antennas in accordance with a determination as to whether the UE supports at least one of frequency-division duplex (FDD) antenna-switched diversity or time-division duplex (TDD) antenna-switched diversity when concurrently performing wireless communication associated with the first SIM and wireless communication associated with a second SIM. The UE may also communicate via at least one reception path associated with the second SIM. The at least one reception path may be mapped to a second one or more antennas in accordance with the determination as to whether the UE supports at least one of FDD antenna-switched diversity or TDD antenna-switched diversity.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, at a modem from an application processor, sets of values for connected mode discontinuous reception (C-DRX) configuration parameters, each of the sets of values for the C-DRX configuration parameters being associated with a corresponding one of a plurality of active applications. The UE may determine a set of selected values for the C-DRX configuration parameters based at least in part on the sets of values. The determination of the set of selected values may include identifying an extremum value for a first C-DRX configuration parameter among the sets of values and determining a selected value for the first C-DRX configuration parameter as the extremum value. The UE may transmit a request indicating the set of selected values for the C-DRX configuration parameters. Numerous other aspects are provided.

For example, a method of wireless communication includes establishing, by a UE, a first connection with a first cell. The method also include, while the first connection between the UE and the first cell is present, detecting a trigger condition. Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatuses for user equipment (UE)-side and network-side mitigation of intermodulation (IM) interference, such as IM interference associated with multi-radio access technology communications. For example, the UE or a base station may detect an IM interference condition, and may perform an IM mitigation action based on detecting the IM interference condition. The UE may reduce an uplink transmit power so that IM interference on the downlink is reduced. Various base station IM mitigation actions are provided, such as suspending scheduling on a bearer, using a scheduling pattern that avoids concurrent transmission, reducing a maximum transmit power of an uplink grant of the UE, allocating resource blocks or bandwidth parts that do not overlap with an IM interference resource, changing a secondary cell group channel to a non-interfering channel, releasing a secondary cell group channel, deactivating a carrier, or changing a channel of the UE.

In some aspects, a user equipment may determine, when engaged in a multimedia communication, that the user equipment is receiving an uplink grant without sending a scheduling request. A semi-persistent scheduling mode may not be activated when the user equipment is receiving the uplink grant. In some aspects, the user equipment may forgo transmission of at least one scheduling request based at least in part on determining that the user equipment is receiving the uplink grant. In some aspects, an access point may determine to perform scheduling to provide an uplink grant to a user equipment engaging in a multimedia communication. In some aspects, the access point may configure semi-persistent scheduling and scheduling request masking for a logical channel to cause the user equipment to forgo transmission of a scheduling request.
