Abstract: PURPOSE:To objectively judge whether impurities are contained in a peak by calculating the similarity degree and judgment standard of a detected absorbancy spectrum at each point of time and a reference absorbancy spectrum on the basis of the data of absorbancy. CONSTITUTION:A flow cell 13 is irradiated with the light from a light source 11 by a reflection mirror 12 and the light with a specific wavelength is absorbed into the component of a sample. The light passing through the cell 13 is spectrally diffracted by a grating 15 through a reflection mirror 14 and the intensity at every wavelength thereof is detected by a detector 17 through a reflection mirror 16. The signal obtained by the detector 17 is converted to spectrum data by an A/D converter 19 through an amplifier 18 and the spectrum data is analyzed by a personal computer 21. That is, the similarity (r) of a detected absorbancy spectrum at each point of time and a reference absorbancy spectrum is calculated on the basis of the data of absorbancy. Further, a judgment reference value (t) at each point of time is calculated on the basis of the data of absorbancy and the magnitude of the similarity degree (r) with the judgment reference value (t) at each point of time within a predetermined time is judged.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To easily judge if the measured peak of a chromatogram contains the single component or two or more components, or judge the range of the single component, by measuring the component purity at each point of the peak from the degree of accordance of the spectrum at one position, having the spectrum at the apex of the chromatogram peak as standard. CONSTITUTION:Data is taken in from a detector 20, and memorized in a data memory part. The data is the three-dimensional data which represents the spectrum of the component separated by a column 12 at each time. The data having a specific wave length is selected from the memorized data, and a chromatogram is prepared from the variation through the lapse of time of the light absorbance for the wave length, and displayed on a CRT. The peak is detected from the prepared chromatogram, and the starting point, apex, and the end point of the peak for which the component purity is to be obtained are obtained. Then, the component purity at each point is calculated, and the results of the calculation are assorted according to a previously set purity.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To certainly collect objective components in parts by judging whether the objective components to be collected in parts are flowing out using the quantitative ratio of physical properties obtained by the first and second physical property quantity detection means. CONSTITUTION:The components of the specimen injected from a specimen injection part 4 are separated on the basis of the difference between the moving speeds thereof in a column to be allowed to flow out from the column 2 in succession. Next, a CPU 11 takes in the signal ch2 of a detector 5-2 to store the same in the delay memory region in a memory 8. Further, the CPU 11 takes in the signal ch1 of a detector 5-1 to perform the detection processing of a peak. Next, the CPU 11 reads the signal ch2 delayed by a delay time Td from the delay memory region to calculates the ratio R of the signals ch1, ch2 of the detectors 5-1, 5-2. When the ratio R to objective components is within a predetermined range, objective components X1-Xn are collected in containers V1-Vn in parts from a nozzle 6a in the order of a fast outflow time under the control of a motor/nozzle control part 6.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To lower a noise level by providing two array type photodetectors on the exit surface of a spectrograph, detecting sample light and reference light with same wavelength at the same time and calculating absorbance, and canceling variation in the quantity of light of a light source sufficiently. CONSTITUTION:The sample light which passes through a sample cell 2 and the reference light which passes through a reference cell 3 are incident on a concave diffraction grating 12 which constitutes the spectrograph through a slit 14a. A sample-side photodiode array 16 as an array type photodetector is provided on the exit surface of the spectrograph including the grating 12 at the sample-side image formation position of the slit 14a. A reference-side photodiode array 18 as an array type detector is provided at the reference-side image formation position of the slit 14a. A signal processor 20 inputs the detection signals of the same wavelength parts of the arrays 16 and 18 at the same time to calculate the absorbance. Consequently, the noise level is lowered.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To make unnecessary a large quantity of a memory capacity by preventing the necessity to store all base lines equivalent to the analyzing time. CONSTITUTION:When the base line of the chromatogram is drifted, the position of the base of the differentiating chromatogram is not zero, and shifted positively or negatively. To correct the drifting is to shift the position of the base of the differential chromatogram shown in the Fig.3 to zero and obtain the differentiating chromatogram shown in the Fig. 4. Namely, when the differentiating chromatogram shown in the Fig. 4 is obtained, the chromatogram without the draft shown in the Fig. 5 can be reproduced by integrating. To execute the correcting calculation with a real time, it is necessary to decide whether or not the base line is obtained. The formula to decide the base line is k-DELTA

Abstract: PURPOSE:To perform a spectrum measurement of high resolving power by using a diode array, by inserting a filter crossing the whole optical path of a spectrometer. CONSTITUTION:An incandescent electric lamp 1 emits visible rays, while a heavy- water lamp 2 emits rays in the ultraviolet region. A concave mirror 3 converges the rays from the incandenscent electric lamp 1 and the heavy-water lamp 2 on an inlet slit 7. The rays having permeated through a sample 6 is passed through the slit 7 and made incident on a concave diffraction grating 8, where the rays are dispersed, forming the extinction spectrum of the sample 6 on a diode array 9. A rotary filter 5 is arranged so as to cross the whole optical path and rotated by means of a pulse motor 4.
