PURPOSE:To obtain a printer preventing the inadvertent opening of a ribbon during the printing operation of the printer and allowing a ribbon cassette to be easily loaded/unloaded without being obstructed by a pendulum gear in a color video printer. CONSTITUTION:In any state other than an initial state for starting a printing operation, a locking lever 332 slides to a position under a locking claw 421 through a cam lever 328 in conjunction with the rotation of a cam for traveling a printing head, thereby holding the locking claw 421 in a locked state even if a door unlocking button is operated.
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To discriminate many kind data related to an ink ribbon cassette in a small occupying space and to determining a printing mode on the basis of the discrimination result thereof. CONSTITUTION:A signal pattern part 6 showing the kind data of an ink ribbon cassette 1 is provided to a part of the taking-up spool 3 of the ink ribbon cassette 1. This signal pattern part 6 is detected in a time series manner at the time of the rotation of the spool 3 by one sensor 9 and kind data is discriminated in a code discrimination part by the confirmation of a signal pattern and a system controller 12 changes over a printing mode on the basis of the discrimination result. As mentioned above, the kinds of many kinds of ink ribbon cassettes 1 can be discriminated by one sensor by discriminating a signal pattern and the occupying space of the sensor is reduced.

PURPOSE:To miniaturize a printer and to improve operability and portability by forming a simple structure in which a single reel type ribbon cartridge can be used. CONSTITUTION:A printer comprises a head 16 fixed to a chassis 3 in a printer body, a platen oscillating mechanism for bringing a platen 21 into contact with the head 16 and separating it from the head 16, and a platen rotating mechanism for rotating the platen 21. A ribbon cartridge 90 containing a supply ribbon reel 93, on which an ink ribbon 94 is wound, is detachably provided in the body, a takeup ribbon reel 17 for taking up the ribbon 94 drawn from the cartridge 90 is disposed in the body, and the platen 21 is oscillatorily disposed between the cartridge 90 and the reel 17.

PURPOSE:To utilize a chassis as it is as a heat dissipating plate, obtain high heat dissipating effect and obtain ultraminiaturization and thinning and lightening of the whole printer. CONSTITUTION:A thermal head 16 is fixed on a chassis 3 of a printer main body and a platen 21 is positioned to this thermal head 16 in such a way that it is brought into press-contact or non-contact with the thermal head by moving reciprocally it by means of a platen vibration mechanism 30 and the platen 21 is made freely rotated at a supporting shaft 22 bridged on a pair of support arms 32 and 32 of the platen vibration mechanism 30 as a center in the clockwise and counterclockwise directions by means of a platen rotation mechanism 30.

SOLUTION: A communication system includes a portable server 1 which has an antenna 35 and a radio communication unit 34 having a receivable distance of several m to several tens of m, and an authentication antenna 12 and an authentication radio communication unit 33 having a receivable distance of several mm to several cm extremely shorter than the receivable distance of the radio communication unit 34. When an authentication button 41 is operated by a user and other device is disposed within a range of the receivable distance of the authentication radio communication unit 33, the authentication radio communication unit 33 performs the authentication process with other device through the authentication antenna 12, and registers the authentication data obtained by the authentication with a memory 32. The radio communicating unit 34 connects to the authenticated other device through the antenna 35 based on the authentication data, and performs data communication. SOLUTION: A contents integrating part 11 adds value information of a prescribed unit data quantity to each unit data quantity of digital contents data to output it to a transmission part 12. The transmission part 12 transmits digital contents data from the contents integrating part 11 to a reception part 16 through an information communication network 14. A gate function part 13 acquires communication information related to transmitted digital contents data and transmits it to a management device 19. The reception part 16 receives digital contents data through the information communication network 14. A gate function part 15 acquires communication information related to received digital contents data and transmits it to the management device 19. The management device 19 calculates the price for digital contents data on the basis of communication information from gate function parts 13 and 15 and reports it to a charging device 20. The charging device 20 performs charging processing of the price for digital contents data.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve handling easiness or preservability by easily collecting plural IC memory cards into one. SOLUTION: This IC memory card has a case 2 and a semiconductor memory device inside the case 2, mutually exchanges information while being freely attachably and detachably loaded into electric equipment, stores the information in the semiconductor device and can be carried outside. A through hole 5 for passing a card connecting means 10 for holding is formed on the case 2. By making this through hole 5 multifunctional, the through hole 5 can be utilized as a mark to be detected when detecting the kind of the card, a slide shutter having the function of a protecting switch can be provided or through hole 5 itself can be equipped with an opening/closing mechanism for passing the card connecting means 10 in the closed state as well.

SOLUTION: This device is provided with a polarizing mirror 4a arranged so as to be made incident with the light emitted from a lamp 1 at a prescribed angle and separating the light to a P wave or an S wave and a phase mirror 4b made incident with the S wave separated by the polarizing mirror 4a and converting it to the P wave, and is constituted so that the P wave separated by the polarizing mirror 4a and the P wave converted by the phase mirror 4b are made incident on microlenses respectively formed on a liquid crystal panel part 10 in the direction of a plane orthogonally intersecting with a horizontal line of an image at a prescribed incident angle θ.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to project an image free of a color slip even when defocusing occurs by diffusing and mixing respective color light components R, G, B to be mixed on a screen by a diffusing means and then projecting the mixed color beam for an enlarged image by a projection lens. SOLUTION: Light from a liquid crystal panel part 9 is made incident upon a diffusing plate 11 through a projection lens 10. Respective light components R, G, B are made incident upon a Fresnel lens surface of the plate 11, converted into a parallel beam and diffused by the microlens surface of the exit side, so that a mixed color beam is projected. Since the plate 11 is constituted of the microlens surface, respective color components R, G, B can be mixed at a proper diffusion degree suppressing the drop of light efficiency. The mixed color beam is projected on a screen 20 as an enlarged image by a projection lens 12. Since respective color components R, G, B are mixed by the diffusion plate 11 and a generated color beam is projected on the screen 20, the generation of a color slip can be prevented even when defocuing is generated due to the inclination or the like of the screen 20.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing device in which guiding of a printing sheet and a ribbon cassette is performed without proceeding an independent guiding member and also miniaturization, slimess and weight reduction of the device are contrived. SOLUTION: A ribbon cassette 12 is fitted to an outer case 20 and a ribbon film 24 is used to perform printing on printing paper 40. Respective mechanism parts containing the feed mechanism of the printing paper 40, the moving mechanism of a thermal head 30 and the sending mechanism of the ribbon film 24 are assembled in a chassis 60. Guiding parts 62, 64 guiding the printing form 40 are provided in the base plate part of the chassis 60. The printing paper 40 passed through a printing position is guided to the guiding parts 62, 64 and led to the gap parts 60a, 60b between the rear surface of the chassis 60 and the inner wall face of the outer case 290 and smoothly travels in the outer case 20 so that contribution is made to miniaturization or the like of the device.
