Abstract: PURPOSE:To decelerate the available rotating speed of a motor without decreasing a starting torque by providing a voltage limiter for holding the terminal voltage of the motor constant and a servo circuit for holding the rotating speed of the motor constant. CONSTITUTION:A current flows to a motor 1 through transistors Q1, Q2. When the emitter voltage of a transistor Q4 becomes the set voltage or higher, the transistor Q4 becomes ON so that the terminal voltage Vm of the motor 1 is suppressed to the set voltage. When a voltage Vc in responses to a current flowing to the motor 1 output from a transistor Q3 becomes the prescribed value or higher, a transistor Q5 is conducted, the current flowing to the motor is maintained at the value in response to the load torque of the motor 1 to operate a servo for holding the rotating speed of the motor 1 constant.

CONSTITUTION: A moving base 15 driven by a driving device is moved along a cam groove 5, and a tape 43 is led out while coming into contact with inclined tape guides 16W18 of the base 15. Next, a pinch roll 34 and a loading ring 2 provided with tape guides 35W37 are turned to load the tape 43, and the guide 16 is separated from the tape 43. By this constitution where the tape of low rigidity is guided sufficiently during loading, the damage of the tape during loading is prevented.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To load a tape of a full top state by taking up the tape just by the prescribed length and winding the tape taken up later round the outer circumference surface of a drum.
CONSTITUTION: When it is detected that a magnetic tape T is set in a full top state, the tape T is drawn out of a supply reel 12 by a loading ring 23 and moved up to a half-loading position where no contact is secured with a drum 29. Then the tape T is taken up to a take-up reel 11 by the length needed for loading. The reel 12 is damped and the tape T taken up by the reel 11 is drawn out by the ring 23 to be loaded. Therefore the tape T is never drawn out of the reel 12 in a loading mode to eliminate such a case where the tape T has a contact with the outer circumferential surface of the drum 29 of a rotary magnetic head device and is drawn out.

A differential gear device 6 is driven from a loading motor through a reduction gear. One of the output shafts of the reduction gear is coupled with a ring gear driving gear 8 which is engaged with the ring gear of a loading ring 7 and the other output shaft is coupled with a cam wheel 9. When such a constitution is used, the driving device can be miniaturized and, at the same time, the whole device can be miniaturized.

When the loading is over, the counterclockwise force is applied to an arm 144 of the arm 143. Even under such conditions, the gear 141 never rotates counterclockwise since it is locked.
