Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the cost and the size through a simple structure by improving a recording head elevating/lowering mechanism at the time of recording and reproducing operations of a magneto-optical disc. CONSTITUTION:A head assembly 16 comprising a recording head 15 can come into contact with the surface of a magneto-optical disc through a head insertion hole 14a made on the surface of a container 14. A rotary cam 20 presses the head assembly 16 resiliently in the direction separating from the disc. A slide member 19 can slide with respect to the container 14 when the disc is inserted into the container and a cam member 19d is formed on the slide member 19 so that the forward end of the rotary cam 20 approaches the disc from the head assembly 16 or separates therefrom. The supporting part 20d (not shown) of the rotary cam 20 is fitted in a recording head insertion hole in a state where the magneto-optical disc for recording/reproduction is inserted perfectly into the container.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To permit a constant supply of a correct amount of a evaporative liquid dye to an evaporator by providing a valve to supply and suspend an evaporative liquid dye which uses a temperature change in an evaporative liquid dye injector. CONSTITUTION:When an evaporative liquid dye 12' in an evaporative liquid dye injector 16 is supplied to an evaporator 17, if heated by energizing a heating member 20 to a predetermined temperature level, the liquidity of the evaporative liquid dye 12' in or near a small diameter tube portion 16a increases markedly, supplying the dye to a low-resistance evaporator 17 at high speeds. On the other hand, When supply to the evaporator is suspended, heat of the heating member 20 is radiated outside through a radiator 21 and lost from or near the heating dye. Thus the evaporative liquid dye 12' reduces its liquidity markedly or loses the liquidity due to solidification, stopping its journey to the evaporator 17 practically.

CONSTITUTION:A heating element 16 for liquefaction and heat retaining of solid vaporizable dyestuff is also used as a photothermic conversion body and a transparent heating element is used as a heating element for liquefaction and heat retaining, whereby the heating element 16 can be disposed even in a vaporizing section 17, and further the section 17 together with a liquid vaporizable dyestuff introducing section 15 can be temperature controlled. And by providing a heat insulating means near the section 17 and by preventing dispersion of laser beam to collect it by means of a lens, a spot formed on the photothermic conversion body is made smaller than a transferred spot. By this method, energy conservation is achieved and thermal efficiency is enhanced.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a sublimation type printer obtaining high image quality by making the gap between a plurality of evaporators evaporating a liquefied disperse dye as small as possible. CONSTITUTION:A sublimation type printer is equipped with a dye storing tank 11 storing a solid disperse dye 12, a liquefied dye introducing part 16 liquefying the solid disperse dye in the dye storing tank 11 to guide the same and a plurality of evaporators 17 arranged along the liquefied dye introducing part 16 at a predetermined interval and evaporating the liquefied disperse dye 12' from the liquefied dye introducing part 16 by evaporation heat. The liquefied dye introducing part 16 is constituted of capillary tubes consisting of a protective layer 13, a spacer 14 and a head base 15 to be allowed to communicate with the respective evaporators 17. The evaporaters 17 are respectively arranged alternately on the left and right sides of the liquefied dye introducing part 16. By this constitution, the gap between the respective evaporators can be minimized and the evaporated disperse dye 12'' evaporated by the photothermal converters 40 of the evaporators 17 is thermally transferred to printing paper 50.

A link part 39. secured to a universal joint part 40 of a rotary arm, is inserted into the sleeve member 42, and one end of a screw rotary member 36 is engaged with a point end 39a of the link part 39' The screw rotating member 36 is inserted into the housing member 35 through a spring 43 while stopped to the housing member 35 by a stopper member 37, and the screw rotating member 36 enables its position to be adjusted by turning the stopper member 37 and by the spring 43. Accordingly, the screw rotating member 36, which is easily mounted and removed by removing the stopper member 37, permits the replacement work to be easily attained.
