PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat panel display device, in which a flat panel display body and a stand side speaker are electrically connected without fail, in the flat panel display device which is comprised of the flat panel display body and a stand for placing and supporting this flat panel display body thereon, and in which a speaker is integrated into the stand. SOLUTION: A connection section for electrically connecting a flat panel display body and a speaker is provided between the flat panel display body and the stand. In this connecting section, a connector 25 on the side of the flat panel display body and a connector 26 on the side of the stand are fitted and connected with each other in the state of placing the flat panel display body on the stand, and any one side 26 of the connectors is fitted to be pressed to the other 25 at all the time by an elastic member 38. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a powerful sound system with a speaker (woofer) 21 for low range sound by adopting a new structure in a stand 10, in a flat panel display apparatus 1 which is composed of the flat panel display body 2 with the speaker built in, and the stand 10 for supporting the flat panel display body 2 on it. SOLUTION: At the backside of the stand 10, support poles 14 and 15 are posted from both ends of a setting section 13 on which the flat panel display body 2 is placed and a speaker box 20 including the speaker (woofer) 21 for low range sound between the support poles 14 and 15 is supported. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing structure of a liquid crystal display panel which generates no visible defect such as color irregularity in the case of displaying a picture and a liquid crystal display device utilizing the same. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display panel 4 is provided with a panel frame 41 which supports the panel comprising a glass substrate or the like. An installing part 42 which is joined to a boss 22 of a cover main body 21 with a screw 44 is formed on the side face of the short edge side of the panel frame 41. A buffer 43 composed of rubber or a soft plastic is fitted to the installing part 42. The screw 44 and the boss 22 of the cover main body 21 are screwed together by putting the screw 44 through the hole part of the installing part 42 of the panel frame 41. This operation is carried out for the four bosses 22 of the cover main body 21.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate necessity for any particular equipment to disengage a stopper of a slider making a tilting and a panning motion and allow a stopper member to be reused. SOLUTION: From outside a stand table 1 and a slider 7, a second engagement part 22 of a stopper for fixation 14 is engaged with a second engaging hole 25 provided in the stand table 1 while a first engagement part 17 of the stopper for fixation is engaged with a first engaging hole 27 provided in the slider 7 so as to fix the slider 7 moving in the tilting and the panning direction. The stopper for fixation 14 is allowed to be reused upon removing from the stand table 1 and slider 7.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a board mounting device which is capable of easily mounting the board on a holding material. SOLUTION: In this board mounting device, a plurality of boards 3a and 3b can be easily fixed to a holding material 2. In this case the boards 3a and 3b are fixed through a method where the one sides of the boards 3a and 3b are engaged with the pawls 2b of the holding material 2, and then the fitting parts 1a of a fixing material 1 are fitted into the fitting holes 2a of the holding material 2, whereby the other sides of the boards 3a and 3b are fixed between the fixing material 1 and the holding material 2.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure for integrated circuit, which allows a plurality of integrated circuits to be mounted on a substrate in a high density as a single package the entire size of which is reduced. SOLUTION: In a mounting structure for integrated circuit, a polyimide film substrate 2 mounted with a semiconductor integrated circuit 3 is mounted on and connected to a main circuit board 1 mounted with another semiconductor integrated circuit 5 with film connections 6 provided at the end of the board 1, in such a way that the polyimide film substrate 2 covers the circuit 5. The substrate 2 is also connected to the semiconductor integrated circuit 5 via the circuit board 1. Then, the integrated circuits 5 and 3 can be mounted easily on the main circuit board 1 as a single package having a multichip constitution, in which the circuits 5 and 3 are laminated upon another with a small occupying region, without providing any separate integrated circuit for inverting chip terminal.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily execute a desired function through a few key operations by storing a series of plural kinds of key operations and executing the stored series of key operations by operating a specified key. SOLUTION: A portable telephone set 1 is provided with an operation storage mode capable of storing a series of plural kinds of key operations such as execution of a function (command) and input of numbers/characters, for example. Further, previously stored operations can be called by a single key operation. Concretely, an operation storage mode key 21 and a storage end key 22 are provided, and by pressing the operation storage mode key 21, the operation storage mode can be started. Besides, a call key 23 is provided and by pressing this call key 23, the stored operations can be called by a single key operation. Thus, key operation is simplified, time can be shortened and labor for operation can be saved.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically display character information of the optimum language at the time when the character information recorded in multiple languages is obtained from the drive and displayed on a display device. SOLUTION: An optical disk drive and a host computer 53 are connected through an interface 42. The drive is equipped with a servo signal processor 30 for reproducing data from a disk 21, a system controller 41 for controlling the entire drive, and a signal processor 50 for CD-ROM. In response to read command from the host computer 53, return data are transferred from the drive to the computer 53. Relating to the computer 53, it is discriminated whether the character information of the language corresponding to OS information by the country is contained in CD-TEXT data, and if it is contained, the character information of that language is displayed. If it is not contained, the character information of the preset language (English of block 0) is displayed.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire data when a loaded record medium includes character information in a magnagement area by judging whether or not the medium includes the character information based on the data to be transferred from a drive. SOLUTION: An optical disk drive and a host computer 53 are connected to each other via an interface 42. The drive is provided with a servo signal processing part 30 for reproducing the data from a disk 21, a system controller 42 for controlling the whole of the drive and a signal processing part 50 for CD-ROM. Return data are transferred from the drive to the computer 53 by responding to a read command from the host computer 53. Whether the disk 21 is a CD-TEXT disk or not is judged based on a code expressing a data length included in the header of the return data, and when the disk 21 is the CD-TEXT disk, a read command is reissued and CD-TEXT data are acquired.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate detailed settings according to a subject.SOLUTION: An information processor of one aspect of this technology includes a detection part for detecting a position on an image designated by a user, a recognition part for recognizing a subject appeared in a range including the detected position, a selection part for selecting a plurality of functions for setting about the appearance of the subject in accordance with a recognition result of the subject, and a display control part for displaying icons representing the selected functions by superimposing the icons on the image. The technology is applicable to a device having a photographing function, such as a digital camera, a smart phone, and a tablet terminal.
