    Abstract: According to various embodiments of the present disclosure, an electronic device comprises: a housing including a first housing and a second housing configured to guide slide movement of the first housing; a display which is configured to be at least partially unfolded on the basis of the slide movement of the first housing, and comprises a first display area disposed on the first housing and a second display area extending from the first display area; a battery disposed in the first housing; a driving unit configured to provide a driving force for the slide movement relative to the first housing, the driving unit comprising a motor disposed in the first housing and a gear structure including a gear that is at least partially disposed in the second housing and is connected to the motor; and an elastic material which includes a material that is compressible, and is arranged to provide an elastic restoring force, and is disposed in the second housing, wherein the gear structure may be disposed adjacent to one end of the battery, and the elastic member may be disposed adjacent to the other end of the battery facing in the opposite direction from the one end of the battery.

    Abstract: Disclosed are an electronic device including a flexible display, and an operation method thereof. The electronic device may include a battery for power supply, a display unit, and at least one processor. The display unit may include at least one flexible display. As a state of the electronic device switches from a first state to a second state, a screen display area among a display area of the display unit may change from a first area to a second area. In the first state, a first indicator relating to a battery residual capacity identified according to the size of the first area may be displayed through the first area. In the second state, a second indicator relating to a battery residual capacity identified according to the size of the second area may be displayed through the second area.
    Various other embodiments are possible.

    Abstract: An electronic device according to various embodiments of the present disclosure may comprise a sensor module, a flexible display, and a processor operatively connected to the sensor module and the flexible display, wherein the processor measures a first position of the flexible display by using the sensor module, measures a second position of the flexible display by using the sensor module on the basis of a movement of the flexible display, determines a movement change amount of the flexible display by using a value of the measured first position and a value of the measured second position, corrects the value of the measured second position by using a threshold value on the basis of the determined movement change amount of the flexible display, and displays a screen on the basis of the corrected value of the second position.
