    Abstract: PURPOSE:To secure the transfer of thread by one procedure by composing thread transfer mechanism with a thread catch guide having an inclined guide, which makes reciprocation along a fixed guide, and a mobile guide moving interlocked with the above. CONSTITUTION:When a thread is transfered from a bobbin to a waste spool, a thread catch guide 17 make horizontal reciprocation between the stand-by position shown by the double-dotted chain line at the right and the position specified by a limit switch 29, during which a guide plate 44 is situated in the lower position following a pass as 1 2 3 2 1 and stops at the stand-by position upon catching the thread at a pawl in the thread catch guide 17. When, on the other hand, the thread is transferred from the waste spool to the bobbin, the guide plate 44 is situated at the upper position and therefore the arm 19, which is to fix the thread catch guide 17, moves along the guide plate 44 following a pass as 1 2 4 5 4 2 1. Thus transfer of thread can be carried out securely by a single operation.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To facilitate the transfer of thread, by specifying the shape of traverse guide. CONSTITUTION:An opening 3 is provided at the upper end of tapered thread holding section 2 to produce a traverse guide 1, while a cam box 9 is assembled to reciprocate approximately in parallel with the axis of bobbin 4. Consequently during the process where the traverse guide 1 moves from the left to the right, the thread 6 contacted with a thread catching guide 13 which is moving to the left or stopped is pulled by the traverse guide 1 to lift along an inclined section of the thread catching guide 13 then dropped into a recess, thereafter it is never removed from the traverse guide 1 even when the traverse guide 1 moves to the right because of narrow opening 3.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain printed matter being excellent in clearness and contrast and also realizing abundant gloss. SOLUTION: This apparatus is equipped with an ink applying device which applies ink on a printing plate mounted on a plate support and an ink transfer means which transfers the ink applied on the printing plate onto a recording medium. The ink applying device and the ink transfer means are so constituted that they can supply the ink of 0.8 g/m2 or more to a printing area part of the recording medium. Besides, leveling can be conducted by means of heating an ink film on the recording medium, or others, after the ink is transferred onto the recording medium by the ink transfer means.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the adjustment of distance between an imaging head and an imaging medium by setting focus position adjustment means for adjusting the positional relation between beam irradiation means and the imaging medium. SOLUTION: An imaging head 92 is fixed at a linear state 94 via an X state with a micrometer. At the time of adjusting focus, by turning the micrometer adjusting knob of the X state and moving the image head 92, an adjustment is done relative to the distance between the imaging head 92 and the opening 99 of a focus position-detecting member 34 mounted on the image medium support drum 91. The focus adjustment operation is performed at an initial adjustment of the device, a readjustment for an alteration of the thickness of the imaging medium after verifying focus position after a long term rest, and the like period. In this manner, an adjustment can be done readily relative to distance between the imaging head and the imaging medium.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a stripe-form defect in the circumferential direction on a coated film surface due to paper chips, etc., from generating even when a highly tenacious ink is coated by providing at least one smoothening member for the coated film surface on an application roller. SOLUTION: An ink unit 2 changes a press-bonding state between a doctor blade 202 and an ink placing roller 201 by advancing/retracting the doctor blade 202 in the direction shown by arrow A by rotating an eccentric cam 203 which is attached to a shaft 204, and has a structure wherein a film thickness adjustment of a coated film formed on the outer peripheral surface of the ink placing roller 201 can be performed. The surface of the coated film on the inking roller 201 is smoothened by a smoothening blade 209 which is a smoothening member. The doctor blade 202 is constituted of a Sweden steel, etc., of which the plate thickness is 0.1-0.5, and is held by being pinched by an ink bottle 206 and a pressing member 214 on the lower surface from the top and the bottom.
