    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain an excellent image by using light having spectral distribution mainly on the short wavelength side shorter than the wavelength reducing the spectral sensitivity of a photosensitive body on the long wavelength side to a half of the maximum value of the spectral sensitivity distribution of the photosensitive body in a full exposure process. CONSTITUTION:The wavelength of light to be used for the full exposure process is changed by using a photosensitive drum forming a photoconductive layer made of CdS and having the shown spectral sensitivity distribution, i.e. the relation between its wavelength WL and sensitivity SR to control exposure so that the surface potential V2 of a part which is not affected by a 1st and 2nd exposure becomes constant independently of the wavelength of the light. When the exposure is controlled so that the surface potential V2 is made constant, the potential V3 of the part affected by the 2nd exposure is made also constant independently of the wavelength of a light source. In order to improve the developing efficiency, light with wavelength shorter than 700nm may be used in the full exposure process. The sensitivity to the wavelength 700nm is a half of the maximum value of the spectral sensitivity distribution of the photosensitive body.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate positioning of a printing position in printing while maintaining an imaging apparatus and printer separately by substantially setting a method for positioning an imaging medium in the printer and a method for positioning in the apparatus to substantially the same. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus 1 comprises a plate cylinder 11 wound with an imaging medium 18, an imaging head 12 including a beam emitting source, and a beam emitting source control unit 16. And, the head 12 can move parallel to an axial direction of the cylinder 11. The cylinder 11 is rotated, the source is switched while moving the head 12 to form protrusions and recesses corresponding to data on a surface of the medium 18. Further, positioning holes are provided at the medium 18, used as reference at the time of mounting the medium 18 in the apparatus 1 and as mounting reference at the time of mounting the medium 18 in the printer. Thus, fine positional deviation due to difference of mounting reference positions of the medium 18 in the apparatuses is eliminated.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stablely and efficiently recover large and small mist over a long period by recovering one part of the liquid shaped mist generated in an electrophotographic device with a mist generator and recovering the residual mist with liquid absorbing filter. SOLUTION: A blower 7 is attached to a device and the generated liquid shaped mist is sucked into a duct 2 from an air intake 1. For example, one made by bending a wire net is used as a mist separator 4. Since the force of inertia of the mist having a large grain diameter becomes especially large when the flow velocity is large, the mist can not evaide the wire net to be collided with the net and the collided mist is liquefied and flocculated to be recovered. Besides, the mist having a small grain diameter passes through the net. Mainly, the mist having a small grain diameter which is not recovered with the mist separator 4 gathers at the bottom part of the separator. Then, the collected mist is recovered by the liquid absorbing filter 5 of a lubricated filter having its cross section of flow path covered with texitiles such as texitile of nonwoven fabric, knitted fabric, etc., after dispersing lubricated polymer in foamed body, e.g. of continuous cell on closed cell.
