Abstract: PURPOSE:The yarn stored in the reserver during the yarn knotting operation is taken up in the package at high speed after the completion of knotting and the taking-up speed is returned to the ordinary speed by the signal of the reserve completion, thereby the smooth automatic knotting can be always made even when the feed speed of the yarn and the size of the package vary. CONSTITUTION:While knotter 22 is operating, the upper yarn that is sent out of taking-off roller 8 is introduced into reserver 12 which has come near roller 8 and stored in folded from 11b. The package 14 is taken up at a high speed to reduce gradually the dip of the yarn and at the moment when the yarn 11c leaves the sucking opening of reserver 12, the yarn detector 24 sends the signal of reservation completion. The signal separates cradle gripper 15 and driving roller 18 from package 14 and the rotary traverse drum 17 makes the package 14 wind up the yarn at a normal taking-up speed.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide an apparatus capable of exchanging spinning packs quickly, and composed of a traveling truck furnished with a spinning pack container box, an exchanger hand, a lifting hand, a delivery hand, etc. CONSTITUTION:A spinning pack container box 10 is placed in the hot box 11 on a traveling truck 5. The spinning pack container box 10 is cylindrical, and can contain a number of spinning packs 21 along its wall and move one of the packs to the pack-delivery position by rotating the box. The hot box 11 at the position is furnished with a through hole to enable the delivery of the spinning pack from the container box 10 by the lifting hand 12. The spinning pack 21 pushed up from the container box 10 is held with the exchanger hand 15, transferred below the spinning head 1, and attached to the head 1 by the delivery hand 14. The reverse operations are carried out in the case of removing the spinning pack 21 from the spinning head 1.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To ensure the parallelism of two rellers of the drafting device, and to improve the operating efficiency and safety, by means of the front top roller, which is supported on a swingable separate arm, and capable of pressing the bottom roller detachably. CONSTITUTION:The front top roller 3 is supported by the tip of the front top roller arm 9 swingable about the fulcrum 11 of the bracket 10. The brackets 7 are fixed on the bar 6 held by the retainer 5 containing a pressing spring for the weighting arm 2. The top roller 3 is pressed to the bottom roller 4 by the arm 9 through the adjusting bolts attached to the brackets 7 to nip bundles in two positions. For releasing the pressure, the arm 2 is turned about the support bar 13 as a fulcrum to nelease the roller 3 from the roller 4.

Abstract: PURPOSE:A false-twisting nozzle in which a fluid introduction hole is bored through so that it extends from the connection part between the small-diameter hole and the large diameter hole of the yarn path to the following large-diameter part, thus showing high twisting performance and permitting continuous stabilization of operation. CONSTITUTION:The connection part of a cone or spherical form 5 is provided between the small diameter hole 4 and the large diameter hole 6 of the yarn path 2. The fluid introduction angle alpha is set to 45-80 deg., preferably 60-75 deg. and the hole 7 is bored through so that its opening extends from the connection part 5 to the large diameter part 6. The large diameter part 6 is kept almost constant in diameter toward the outlet and its diameter D2 is set in the range satisfying the equation: D1+0.5

Abstract: PURPOSE:To speedily repair an automatic working machine by arranging an operating mechanism in the front or rear portion of an automatic working machine. CONSTITUTION:There are provided an operating mechanism 11, a driving mechanism 10, and an auxiliary mechanism 12. The mechanism 11 is arranged in the front or rear portion of an automatic working machine (e.g., automatic ending machine) 1. Even when the machine 1 is off operation because of the mechanism 11 being out of order or in a trouble, the operator can inspect in detail the interior of the machine 1 from the side on which the mechanism 11 is arranged, can obtain access to any members needed, and can easily carry out proper repair and adjustment while the machine 1 is kept in a stopped position.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the influence of misstraverse of yarn and to accelerate the output response speed by utilizing the vibration of the yarn in a direction intersecting a drum shaft while traversing in the drum shaft direction of the rotary traverse drum and detecting its vibration by a non-contact type photoelectric yarn break detector. CONSTITUTION:A yarn 1' formed by an open-end fine spinning machine is taken up by a take-up roller 2 concurrently used as the swing fulcrum of a rotary traverse drum 4. The yarn is passed through a detector 3 in which its optical axis is provided substantially at the downstream side of the roller 2 in parallel to the drum shaft so that the yarn 1 vibrating in a direction intersecting the axial direction of the drum, and is wound as a package 5 by the drum 4. In this case, on the surface of the drum 4 a groove part 4a is formed into an endless spiral shape, and by utilizing the yarn 1 vibrating forcibly in accordance with the variation in the depth of the groove 4a, a pulse signal is obtained by the projecting part 3A and receiving part 3B of the detector 3 to carry out the detection of the yarn break.
