    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable stabilized dry-wet spinning with increased productivity by extruding a filament yarn from a spinneret having several blocks of orifices, coagulating the yarn in a coagulation bath equipped with specific guides fixed in the bath, separating the yarn into filaments and winding up. CONSTITUTION:The spinneret orifices are arranged into 2 or more blocks so that the interval from one block to the adjacent one is made 2a or more (where a is the distance between the spinneret face and the coagulation bath surface). The spinneret is used to effect spinning of a polymer such as an acrylic copolymer in the vertical direction. The extruded filaments are introduced into the coagulation bath where the filaments are coagulated, then separated into each filament using a fixed guide in the bath, having projections of 5mm or more height, as the filament direction is changed, and wound up whereby the spinning is operated stably and yarns of uniform properties are obtained.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce tension of a yarn at the outlet of a bath and to further reduce scuff of the yarn by a guide, by changing the direction or bundling a fiber bundle still in a swollen state spun by a wet or dry jet-wet spinning process with a yarn guide of specific shape. CONSTITUTION:The curvature radius of a part in contact with a yarn of a guide is 0.1-5mm, preferably 0.5-1.5mm for the running direction of the yarn and >=50mm, preferably 100-1,000mm for the direction perpendicular to the running direction of the yarn. The collecting property of the yarn is improved and the flow of the bath solution is in good order. Thereby, the guide frictional force (ratio of the tension on the outlet side to that on the inlet side) is markedly reduced.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of cracks in the circumferential direction even at high-speed revolution and to improve the balance between strength and elongation in the radial direction by constituting fiber reinforced plastic from a resin composition containing polyepoxide, a curing agent, and dimer acid type polyamide as indispensable components and reinforcing fibers. SOLUTION: In a fly wheel formed from fiber reinforced plastic, the reinforced plastic is constituted from a resin composition containing polyepoxide, a curing agent, and dimer acid type polyamide having not more than 5×10 mole equivalent of terminal group concentration per 1g of the polyamide as indispensable components and reinforcing fibers. A method for producing the fly wheel is not limited particularly if it is within a range of a general molding method for fiber reinforced plastic; however, in consideration of the strict control of fiber orientation in a molding, uniform impregnation with a resin, etc., usually a filament winding method is employed preferably.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a core for a carbon fiber prepreg which can be wound in a good form, a roll of the carbon fiber prepreg which uses the core, and a method of manufacture thereof. CONSTITUTION:Using a paper tube with an irregular pattern formed on its surface by embossing, a prepreg that uses a high-elastic-modulus carbon fiber whose tensile elastic modulus is at least 20X10 kgf/mm is wound into a roll in such a way that the ratio of the width of winding to the diameter of winding is 1 or less.
