    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a di(polynuclear amino) dialkoxysilane having two polynuclear perhydroamino groups, the hydrocarbon amino group of which is sterically very bulky, e.g. di(polynuclear perhydroamino) di(hydrocarbon oxy)silane. SOLUTION: This method for producing a di(polynuclear amino)dialkoxysilane reacts dialkoxydichlorosilane with a secondary polynuclear amine in the presence of a hydrogen chloride scavenger. The particularly preferable hydrogen chloride scavengers include trimethylamine, triethylamine, tripropylamine, tributylamine, trihexylamine and dimethylphenylamine. The dialkoxydichlorosilane, e.g. dimethoxydichlorosilane, is obtained by reacting 1 molar equivalent pt. of tetrachlorosilane with 2 molar equivalent pts. of alcohol or metal alkoxide.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject compound useful as a catalytic component for providing a highly stereospecific polyolefin, etc., in a high yield, by reacting a secondary polycyclic amine with an organomagnesium compound and reacting the reaction product with a tetraalkoxysilane. SOLUTION: A secondary polycyclic amine (e.g. perhydroisoquinoline) is reacted with an organomagnesium compound (e.g. n-butylethylmagnesium) or an organoaluminum compound (e.g. diethylaluminum chloride) to produce a di(polycyclic amino)magnesium [e.g. di(perhydroisoquinolino)magnesium] or a polycyclic amino aluminum compound (e.g. perhydroisoquinolinoethylaluminum chloride). Then these compounds are reacted with a tetraalkoxysilane to produce a di(polycyclic amino)dialkoxysilane. Consequently the objective aminosilane useful as a catalytic component for increasing the stereoregularity of a polymer in an α-olefin polymerization.

SOLUTION: Firstly a perhydroquinolino metal compound obtained by reacting an organometallic compound with perhydroquinoline is reacted with a tetraalkoxysilane to form a perhydroquinolinotrialkoxysilane. Secondly a perhydroisoquinolino metal compound obtained by reacting an organometallic compound with perhydroisoquinoline is reacted with the perhydroquinolinotrialkoxysilane to produce a (perhydroquinolino) (perhydroisoquinolino)dialkoxysilane.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a substrate which can exhibit good conductivity even under high-temperature molding conditions or under severe service conditions by using a specified aromatic polyimide satisfying specified requirements as the starting material. SOLUTION: An aromatic polyimide is obtained by the polymerization and subsequent imidization of an aromatic tetracarboxylic acid component selected from 3,3',4,4'-biphenyltetracarboxylic acid, its dianhydride, a mixed system comprising these compounds and pyromellitic acid, its dianhydride, 3,3',4,4'- benzophenonetetracarboxylic acid, its dianhydride or 3,3',4,4'- diphenyltetracarboxylic acid or the like and an aromatic diamine component selected from among mixed systems such as p-phenylenediamine and diaminodiphenyl ether. This polyimide satisfies the following requirements: (i) the weight loss after heating to 550 deg.C for 60min in a helium gas is 5wt.% or below, (ii) the coefficient of linear expansion 30-300 deg.C is 0.4-2.0×10 cm/cm/ deg.C, and (iii) the tensile strength under immersion in liquid nitrogen is 20-60kg/mm .

SOLUTION: This aminoalkoxysilane is represented by formula I or II (R is methyl, ethyl, n-propyl, iso-propyl, n-butyl, iso-butyl, cyclopentyl or cyclohexyl; R , R and R are each a 1-8C hydrocarbon group; R is a cyclic amino; and n is 0 or 1). This compound can be used effectively as a component of a supported catalyst for polymerizing an α-olefin. Namely, a catalyst system comprising a solid catalyst component essentially consisting of Mg, Ti, a halogen and an electron donor, an organoaluminum compound and a dialkylaminoalkoxysilane of formula I is highly active and is desirable for obtaining a highly stereoregular polymer.

A mixing molar ratio of the components (a), (b) and (c) is (0.5-1.5:0.5-1.5:0.5-1.5).
