Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable presentation of an evaluation result that satisfies all users from beginners to advanced-level people.SOLUTION: In a karaoke device 10, a vocal adapter 16 detects a pitch from an output signal Sshowing a singing sound and outputs a result of the detection as a signal S. A CPU 17 uses the signal Sto individually score a point SCfor a singing section ZNwith low difficulty shown in difficulty reference data DD and a point SCfor a singing section ZNwith high difficulty shown therein. The CPU 17 determines an addition ratio RA of both points SCand SCin accordance with a level of the point SC, and specifies a value obtained by adding the points SCand SCat the ratio RA, as a total evaluation point SC. The signal Sis transmitted to a server device 30, and is used for updating the difficulty reference data DD. The updated difficulty reference data DD is transmitted to the karaoke device 10, and is used for subsequent singing evaluation.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evaluate a sense of rhythm in user's singing while taking beats into consideration.SOLUTION: Once a user specifies a song (Sa1), a control section acquires guide melody data and musical sound data representing an accompaniment sound of the specified song from a server device (Sa2). The control section creates an evaluation table based upon the acquired guide melody data (Sa3). The control section classifies respective reference component sounds of the acquired guide melody data by types associated with beats (Sa4). Once the song is reproduced (Sa5), a voice signal representing user's singing is acquired (Sa6). The control section specifies the pitch of the user's singing from the voice signal (Sa7). The control section specifies user's singing start time of each reference component sound (Sa8). The control section evaluates singing to each reference component sound (Sa9). The control section calculates average points by the types associated with the beats (Sa10) and evaluates a total sense of rhythm (Sa11).
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reflect the difficulty levels of singing the notes of a song based on the pitch of the notes to be sung, to singing voice evaluation.SOLUTION: A karaoke device in this invention identifies the difficulty levels of singing the notes of a song to be sung specified in song data, based on the relation between pitch associated with the types of scales used in the song and the specified pitch of the notes. The karaoke device obtains singing voice inputted while the song data is being played, and computes the evaluation values for the notes to be sung based on the pitch of the singing voice, the specified pitch of the notes and the identified difficulty levels of the notes.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a singing determination device capable of determining whether or not singing voice is input.SOLUTION: A pitch extractor 101 extracts a pitch from an input speech signal, to create a pitch data. Creation of the pitch data is performed, for example, for every 10 ms. A sound volume extractor 102 extracts a sound volume of the input speech signal, to create a sound volume data. The sound volume data is obtained from an instantaneous value, for example, for every 10 ms or an integral value etc. A singing determination section 103 stores, for example, the pitch data and the sound volume data for a prescribed period (for example, about 100 ms), and when the pitch is continuously extracted, a standard deviation is less than a prescribed value, and the sound volume is stable, it is determined that singing voice is input.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an elaborate musical score display by optionally or automatically selecting and displaying a plurality of indicators such as symbols or figures and making the displayed indicators behave. SOLUTION: The indicators such as the symbols or figures are provided and optionally or automatically selected and displayed. The displayed indicators are made to behave as previously set. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a musical score information generating device, a musical score information display device and a storage medium that the load of costs and a time on the provider of musical score information is reduced and the provider of the musical score information can offer the musical score informa tion whose function is extended as expected. SOLUTION: When performance data in an SMP format being general performance data are inputted, and performance data are analyzed and judged in various ways, and musical score logical data are generated (steps S1 and S2). Then, fair copy data are applied to the generated musical score logical data so that shaped musical score logical data can be generated (a step S3), and link information with the inputted performance data in the SMF format is generated (a step S4).
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To associate a song melody according to the arrangement of lyrics, and to allow a singer to sing well even when the user does not know the lyrics well by deciding the display positions of lyrics based on inputted lyrics data based on inputted song melody data, and displaying the lyrics at the decided positions by a lyrics displaying means. SOLUTION: The musical sound of a KARAOKE music formed by a sound source device 18 is outputted from a speaker 5, and a lyrics telop developed on a character display part(VRAM) 20 by a CPU 10 is displayed on a monitor 6. The musical sound data include a musical sound track for instructing a musical sound to be formed by the sound source device 18, a lyrics track for instructing the lyrics telop to be displayed on the monitor 6, and a guide melody track for storing a melody (song melody) to be sung by a singer. Then, the characters of the lyrics telop are displayed so as to be shifted up and down based on tone height instructed by the guide melody so that singing can be supported by expressing the melody with the arrangement of the characters.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an effector (musical tone effector) which selects a substitutive effect in the case of the absence of an assigned effect and uses the simplified effect in substitution in the case of the absence of the number of steps to execute the assigned effect. SOLUTION: The apparatus is provided with a substitutive table of effects. If there are no assigned effect, the substitutive effect is retrieved according to this table. When the plural effects are assigned, the number of steps of all of the microprograms of these effects is totaled and whether this number is confined within the number of steps of the IDAC cycle of a DSP is judged. If the number is not confined therein, the respective effects are given priority and the microprograms are successively replaced with the microprograms of smaller sizes in order of the lower priority. If the number of steps is too large in spite of the replacement of all with the small sizes, the effects of part having the low priority are confined only to the sound volume control.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic player or the like capable of displaying the animations of a player of a playing part in compliance with automatic playing. SOLUTION: Polygon data 130 indicating the body of the player and the shape of a musical instrument and playing action data 131 instructing the playing actions at the time of playing various musical tones are previously stored in a player data base 13. When the data, such as pitches and velocities, are inputted from the automatic playing data, the animations of the player for playing the musical tones are formed by combining the polygon data 130 in accordance with the playing action data 131 and are displayed in parallel with the automatic playing.
