Abstract:
Abstract:
An exercise apparatus comprises a platform (50) for a user to stand or sit upon, mounted on a body formed of two wedge-shaped parts (62, 64) which are turned relative to each other so that the platform (50) is inclined relative to a base (40). The platform (50) is coupled to the top of the body (62, 64) via a first bearing, and the body (62, 64) is coupled to the base (40) by a second bearing: the platform is prevented from rotating relative to the base (40) by a gimbal arrangement (80, 82, 84). A motor coupled to a shaft (70) rotates the body (62, 64), so that the direction of tilt of the platform (50) sweeps around in a corresponding circular manner.
Abstract:
An ultra-thin massaging core (100) comprises a housing (80) and a kneading massage mechanism (20). The kneading massage mechanism (20) comprises a kneading rotary shaft (22), a kneading drive device (24) and two partial pendulum type kneading massage member (26), and the housing (80) is provided with two supporting bases (82). The ends of the kneading rotary shaft (22) are mounted respectively on the supporting bases (82), and the kneading massage member(26) are provided close to the ends of the kneading rotary shaft (22). The kneading drive device (24) comprises a kneading motor (242) and a kneading speed reducer (244). A recessed accommodation space (84) is formed between the two supporting bases (82). The kneading motor (242) is provided on the accommodation space (84). The kneading rotary shaft (22) is located right above the kneading motor (242) and the kneading rotary shaft (22) and the kneading motor (242) are perpendicularly staggered. A first output end of an output shaft of the kneading motor (242) is connected with the kneading rotary shaft (22) through the kneading speed reducer (244) in a transmission mode. The kneading rotary shaft (22) is located right above the kneading motor (242) and the kneading rotary shaft (22) and the kneading motor (242) are perpendicularly staggered so that the length of the massaging core (100) is reduced effectively, and the massaging core (100) has the advantage of being short. The kneading speed reducer (244) is provided with a U-shaped transmission structure and has the advantage of being small in size.
Abstract:
A breast massage device includes a main body; a drive unit installed within the main body; and a massage disk mounted on the main body and electrically coupled with the drive unit so as to be driven rotatably thereby, the massage disk having an external surface that is used for covering a breast and that is contoured to possess at least two arcuated areas extending in an asymmetric inclination manner relative to each other, and a plurality of massage elements mounted rotatably on the arcuated areas such that the massage elements are rotatable relative to the external surface upon activation of the drive unit.
Abstract:
A shoe for the sticks canes and crutches having a base member with four outwardly extending pads and a central flat portion. A frustoconical top member mounted above the base member is joined to a cup member for receiving the distal end of a cane or crutch member. The junction between the top member and the cup member define a waist portion that is flexible and resilient mimicking the movement of a human ankle when a person walks. Irregularities on the bottom of the pads 24 and underside 22 enhance the traction.
Abstract:
Disclosed are neuromuscular release (including myofascial trigger point) therapy devices, systems, kits and methods. The therapy tool comprises a body, wherein the body includes an outer surface, an inner surface, a tip defined at the upper-most portion of the body, a base, a stop surface defined in the body outer surface, a pocket defined by the inner surface and extending from the base upwards in the direction of the tip, and a recessed groove defined in the inner surface and extending upwards from the base and having a groove diameter and depth. The body can be generally bell-shaped with the base having a larger diameter than the tip. The system can further include a riser, either disk or wedge shaped, and a rocker base. The system components are configured to stack and nest into a compact assembly for easy carrying as a kit.
Abstract:
A massaging device includes a base part, vibrators configured to be brought into contact with target parts of a user and to massage the target parts with vibration, and springs each including a first end fixed to the base part and a second end attached to the corresponding one of the vibrators. The spring constants of the springs are set based on skin stress of the target parts.
Abstract:
In combination, vertically percussive vibration and non-symmetrical forces are applied to a patient. The non-symmetrical forces may be generated by a variety of unevenly applied weights that are supported at appropriate body locations in a manner that upsets normal body load symmetry. The non-symmetrical forces in combination with vertically percussive vibrations induce neuromusculoskeletal proprioceptive re-education and development within a living body to correct musculo-skeletal disorders including but not limited to scoliosis. A special posture modifying chair and head-orienting glasses may be used instead of or in addition to unevenly applied weights. An additional force concentrating treatment apparatus is also presented.
