    Abstract: The present invention is directed to an improved method and apparatus for the application of powdered resins to threaded fasteners (24). In accordance with the present invention, the powdered resin handling system (10) used to apply, collect, recycle and make-up the resin is generally enclosed; that is, with the exception of the application of the resin to the fasteners (24), the resin is generally maintained within conduit, housings or hoppers that are not open to the surroundings.
