자동차용 차선 유지 제어 장치 및 방법에서, 차량이 통행하는 교통 차선으로부터의 차량 이탈 경향이 발생하는지 여부에 대한 결정이 검출된 차량의 통행 상태에 따라 이루어지며, 교통 차선으로부터의 차량 이탈이 방지되는 방향으로 편주 모멘트(Ms)를 전개시키기 위해 각 로드 휠에 대한 구동력 제어 변수가 검출된 차량 상태에 따라 계산되며, 각 로드 휠에 대한 구동력 제어 변수는 교통 차선으로부터의 차량 이탈이 방지되는 방향으로 전개된 편주 모멘트(Ms)가 교통 차선으로부터의 차량 이탈을 방지하도록 실행된 제어의 이력에 따라 증가되도록 보정된다.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und ein Fahrerassistenzsystem (1) zur Unterstützung des Fahrers eines Fahrzeugs (F1) beim Halten einer durch Fahrspurmarkierungen (S1, S2) begrenzten Fahrspur (Se), bei dem die Fahrspurmarkierungen (S1, S2) und die Lage des Fahrzeugs (F1) in der Fahrspur (Se) erfasst werden und bei dem beim Verlassen oder drohenden Verlassen der Fahrspur (Se) in einem ersten Schritt eine Spurverlasswarnung an den Fahrer des Fahrzeugs (F1) ausgegeben wird und in einem zweiten Schritt ein dem Spurverlassen entgegen wirkender kurskorrigierender Stelleingriff durchgeführt wird. Der Stelleingriff wird dabei nur dann durchgeführt, wenn das Verlassen der Fahrspur (Se) aufgrund der Art der beim Spurverlassen zu überfahrenden Fahrspurmarkierung (S1, S2) unzulässig ist oder wenn das Verlassen der Fahrspur aufgrund von seitlich der Fahrspur vorhandenen kollisionsgefährdenden Objekte (F2, F3, O1) gefahrlos nicht möglich ist.

Methods, systems and displays for perceptual enhancement based on knowledge of head and/or eye position and/or gaze position are disclosed which are especially provided for a vehicle driver for increasing safety of driving. This is achieved mainly by a gaze-contingent peripheral-vision information presentation, a path-prediction quickening display and a display supporting lane-keeping.

Um ein Spurhaltesystern für ein Kraftfahrzeug mit einer am Kraftfahrzeug (10) angebrachten Umfeldsensoreinrichtung (31) zum Erfassen der Fahrspur (20) des Fahrzeugs, und einer Warneinrichtung (32) zum Warnen des Fahrzeuglenkers im Fall, dass das Fahrzeug (10) die Fahrspur (20) zu verlassen droht, zu schaffen, das dem Fahrzeuglenker bei geringstmöglicher Störung der Mitfahrer dennoch im Gefahrfall eine intuitive Lenkreaktion ermöglicht, wird vorgeschlagen, die Warneinrichtung (32) so auszulegen und einzurichten, dass eine für den Fahrer spürbare Vibration im Fahrersitz bewirkt wird, derart, dass die Vibration auf der Seite spürbar ist, zu der das Verlassen der Spur droht bzw. erfolgt.

An imaging system for a vehicle includes an imaging sensor and a control. The imaging sensor is operable to capture an image of a scene occurring exteriorly of the vehicle. The control receives the captured image, which comprises an image data set representative of the exterior scene. The control may apply an edge detection algorithm to a reduced image data set of the image data set. The reduced image data set is representative of a target zone of the captured image. The control may be operable to process the reduced image data set more than other image data, which are representative of areas of the captured image outside of the target zone, to detect objects present within the target zone. The imaging system may be associated with a side object detection system, a lane change assist system, a lane departure warning system and/or the like.

The invention relates to a driver assistance system of a motor vehicle and to a method for operating a drive assistance system of a motor vehicle. The invention comprises a detection means (24, 28, 30) for predetermined, instantaneous environmental parameters of a momentary traffic situation, a comparing means (28; 34) for comparing the detected instantaneous environmental parameters with stored environmental parameters which are acceptable for the driver assistance system. The inventive system also comprises an activating/deactivating means (28) for deactivating the drive assistance system if predetermined, instantaneous environmental parameters are located outside the environmental parameters which are acceptable for the driver assistance system, or the driver assistance system is activated if predetermined, instantaneous environmental parameters are located within the environmental parameters which are acceptable for the driver assistance system.

A deflection control apparatus is provided with: a determinator configured to determine whether or not a vehicle is about to depart from a driving lane; and a controller programmed to perform a deflection control for controlling a braking apparatus to supply a fluid pressure to at least one of brake mechanisms corresponding to a front wheel and a rear wheel on a side opposite to a departure direction of the vehicle. The controller is programmed to control the braking apparatus to supply the fluid pressure to the brake mechanism that is close to a fluid pressure source, out of the brake mechanisms corresponding to the front wheel and the rear wheel on the opposite side, on condition that a motion state corresponds to a regular-use area of the braking apparatus, if it is determined that the vehicle is about to depart from the driving lane.

A drive torque modulation is generated in response to an unintentional lane departure or traffic/obstacle intervention in an electric vehicle or a hybrid-electric vehicle (HEV). At least one of propulsion and braking of the vehicle is controlled via a motor of the vehicle in accordance with the torque modulation. Vehicle oscillation is generated through the torque modulation to let the driver be aware of the impending dangerous driving situation.
