A motor vehicle lock with a locking mechanism and a lock housing structure, a motorized drive arrangement to actuate a mechanical lock component, a control unit for the actuation of the drive arrangement, and an energy storage arrangement for the electric voltage supply of the drive arrangement and/or the control unit being provided in or on the lock housing structure. The lock housing structure has an inner housing part attached to the locking mechanism and the drive arrangement, a housing cover for closing an upper side of the inner housing part, and, between the inner housing part and the housing cover, a control housing part including a control board of the control unit and the energy storage arrangement, and leadframe lines extending at least in sections along the board plane and connected electrically via the leadframe lines of the leadframe to the control board and drive arrangement.

At least one of the guide elements includes a profile attachment element for attaching at least one profile of a guide element to the base of a building structure. The profile attachment element has a vertical profile mount for mounting a vertically running profile on the profile attachment element and a horizontal profile feedthrough for feeding a horizontally running profile through the profile attachment element.

A closure device is provided for opening and/or re-closing a wall element, with an unlocking/locking device for opening and re-closing the wall element. A holding device is provided by which the wall element is arranged in a first function position from which it is re-closed again or by which the wall element is arranged in a second function position, from which the wall element is openably held. A control device is provided that releases a tensioning device of the unlocking/locking device. For a first release period with which the wall element is loaded with a force in the direction of the second function position. When the wall element on actuation of an actuating device is closed or arranged in the first function position and at least locks the tensioning device after the second release period when the wall element on actuating the actuating means is opened.

A drive system includes a selector assembly that selectively operates both a window drive assembly and a lock module drive assembly. The selector assembly preferably includes a slidable shaft attached to first and second inputs. The shaft is mounted to slide in response to an actuator such as solenoid. When the first input is engaged with the output of a drive motor, the motor operates to lock and unlock the lock module drive assembly. When the second input is engaged with the output, the drive motor operates the window drive assembly to drive the window.

Electromechanical operating device for a slidingly movable door, which device comprises a motor driving a worm on which is mounted a nut connected to the door which is is to be moved, said nut being secured in respect of rotation by a slide guide having a step at the point corresponding to the end of the stroke of the door. This step allows a certain rotation of the nut and constitutes a stop preventing the rearward displacement of the nut when the latter is acted on by means of the door.The nut is composed of two parts axially fastened to one another and mounted for rotation one about the other, these parts being so shaped as to ensure that they will be fastened together in respect of rotation with considerable angular play.The aim of the device is to prevent untimely unlocking of the closed door through the elastic torsional cocking of the worm.

A power boost assembly is disclosed that can be used with a door actuator, such as a door closer. The power boost assembly is structured to store an energy during a first movement of a door and release the stored energy during a second movement of the door. In one form the power boost assembly can be structured as a module that can be added to an existing door and door closer installation. In one form the power boost assembly is used to increase a closing force imparted to a door to ensure a latching event.

An opening and closing apparatus with a lock that is provided is capable of safely and promptly closing a sliding door, and also easily performing unlocking with a simple configuration. In an opening and closing apparatus with a lock for opening and closing sliding doors that are provided with elastic members at their door leading ends, output of an electric motor is transmitted to a rack-and-pinion mechanism or a lock mechanism. A control unit controls the electric motor such that a closing operation is performed, the closing operation operates the rack-and-pinion mechanism so as to move the sliding doors to a fully closed position and then displacing a link mechanism in a lock mechanism from an unlocking position to a locking position. Furthermore, the control unit controls the electric motor so as to reduce the output of the electric motor at a predetermined intermediate time point during the closing operation.
