Abstract:
A vehicle sliding door mechanism is arranged to move a door from a door opening provided in a vehicle side body structure from a closed position to an open position. The sliding door mechanism comprises an upper slide rail and a lower slide rail fixed to the vehicle side body structure. An upper slider is associated with the upper rail and is movable along the upper rail, and a lower slider is associated with the lower rail and is movable along the lower rail. An upper link assembly operatively connected to the vehicle door and the upper slider, and a lower link assembly is operatively connected to the vehicle door and the lower slider. At least one link assembly of the upper link assembly and lower link assembly is configured to control a moment of force about a pivot axis while moving the vehicle door between the closed position and the open position. The moment of force is one of an opening moment and a closing moment and is dependent on a position of the vehicle door relative to the vehicle side body structure. The at least one link assembly is configured such that the moment of force is substantially zero between when the vehicle door moves between the closed position and the open position.
Abstract:
An arrangement for mounting a sliding door to a vehicle body for movement between an open position and a closed position. The arrangement includes a guide track mounted to the sliding door, a carriage support arrangement carried by the sliding door and a swing arm. The swing arm is connected to the carriage for pivotal movement about a first axis and to the body for pivotal movement about a second axis. With the sliding door unlatched, the swing-arm rotates the carriage support arrangement and the sliding door through an obtuse swing angle, thereby reducing longitudinal tipping forces on the sliding door. Further, when the swing-arm and sliding door are in the full-open position, the sliding door's center of gravity is only slightly offset aft of the carriage support arrangement, thereby reducing the force needed to remove the swing-arm, carriage support arrangement and vehicle sliding door to a fully-closed position.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for restraining noise of a moving wall moving along an overhead rail. SOLUTION: A urethane roller 13 is fitted in a suspension bolt connected to the moving wall upper end by extending downward from a suspension sheave of rotatably pivoting two horizontal wheels at a predetermined interval. The size of the urethane roller 13 is set in an outer diameter of leaving a little clearance between guide parts 9a and 9b of the overhead rail 4. Plates 15a and 15b having the predetermined length are installed along the guide parts 9a and 9b on a guide part inside surface of the overhead rail 4 in the vicinity of a wall surface and the overhead rail 4 in the vicinity of an L-shaped intersection of a T-shaped crossing part. A roller 16 is fitted in the suspension bolt 3, and is formed as a friction material capable of generating friction by mutually abutting on at least one of a surface of the plates 15a and 15b or an outside surface of the roller 16. The clearance is set by 0 to 2 mm between both plates 15a and 15b and a roller outer diameter. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
Abstract:
The present invention relates to vehicle glazing, in particular to sliding windows for land vehicles. Ai sliding window comprises a fixed glazing panel (22) defining an opening (24) therein, a moving glazing panel (26), an opening mechanism attached to the moving glazing panel (26) for moving it between a closed position and an open position, at which the moving glazing panel (26) is laterally spaced inwardly relative to the opening (24), and a slider assembly, including upper and lower horizontal slider rails (36, 38) disposed along the inside face of the fixed glazing panel, for moving the moving glazing panel horizontally between the open position and a displaced position, at which the moving glazing panel is longitudinally spaced relative to the opening, wherein the opening mechanism comprises an articulated mechanism (68) connecting the upper edge of the moving glazing panel to the upper slider rail (36) and a sliding mechanism (100) connecting the lower edge of the moving glazing panel to the lower slider rail (38). Safety devices for openable vehicle windows are also disclosed.
Abstract:
Abstract:
A glazing system comprises at least two window elements (120 to 126), of which at least one window element (112 to 126) is movable. Each window element (120 to 126) comprises a top strip structure (128). The top strip structure (128) of each window element (120 to 126) comprises a disc-like structure (210) for minimum distances between the window elements (120 to 126). The top strip structure (128) of each movable window element (122 to 126) comprises at least one supporting roll (208) that enables the moving of a window element (122 to 126) and is arranged to form part of the circumference of said disc-like structure (210).
Abstract:
A sliding door supporting device, which also allows the horizontal sliding parallel to the plane of the door wing (4) thereof between an opening position and closing position of the compartment (3), comprises a fixing plate (10) and two sliding rails (11, 12) arranged in the side of each other. The rail (12) slides with respect to the fixing plate (10) and respect to the other adjacent rail (12). The rail (12) is fixed to the door wing (4). With the door open, only part of the rail (11) remains in sight, occupying only a fraction of the width of the passage compartment (3).
