Abstract:
A hydropneumatic pressure accumulator has an outer tube forming the accumulator housing. A flexible separating element is formed by a section of a hose, extends in the longitudinal direction inside of the outer tube and is anchored on the tube to form a seal. On the outside and inside of the hose, receiving spaces separated from one another are formed within the tube. A support body is surrounded by the hose and has fluid passages. At least in sections, the support body cross sectional shape is not round. The hose is closed on its one end and is anchored only on its other open end together with an adjacent end of the support body along the outer tube. The size of the outside surface of the hose is only slightly smaller than the size of the inside surface of the outer tube facing it. The size of the outside surface of the support body is slightly smaller than that of the inside surface of the hose facing it.
Abstract:
An accumulator tank for pressurizing and supplying liquid to a system comprises a pressure vessel having a wall defining a closed pressure chamber. The pressure vessel is provided with an internal flexible air cell which divides the pressure chamber into first and second variable volume compartments containing pressurized air and water, respectively. Perforated conduits are provided in the second compartment in fluid communication with a port, and extend between the wall of the pressure vessel and the flexible air cell. The perforated conduits provide fluid communication between the port and portions of the second compartment when the air cell seals against the wall to otherwise isolate those portions of the second compartment in fluid communication with the perforated conduits.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method and apparatus for charging a hydro-pneumatic reservoir with gas under pressure. The reservoir is positioned between two vertically aligned supporting members, with the oil charging port and gas charging port of the reservoir axially aligned. The supporting member on which the oil charging port is positioned, is vertically adjustable. The gas charging port carries an initially loose fitting bushing with an expander member at its outer end, the bushing permitting flow of gas therearound to permit charging of the reservoir. A force applying member is slidably mounted in the uppermost supporting member such that when gas under pressure is applied, it will cause the force applying member to move upwardly and the gas under pressure will pass around the bushing into the reservoir to charge the latter. After the reservoir is charged, oil under pressure is applied to the force applying member to move the latter downwardly to react against the expander member, forcing the latter into the bushing to expand the latter and seal the gas port of the reservoir.
Abstract:
A pressure tank for storing a liquid is provided having an inflatable member suspended therein to supply pressure to the liquid in the tank. A misalignment device is provided for properly aligning the inflatable member within the tank during pressurization.
Abstract:
Device for automatic regulation of the running speed of a drilling turbine, adapted to compensate for a drop in the pressure power of the drilling fluid through the turbine by an opposite variation of the flow rate of said fluid through the turbine, comprising a tank of elastically expansible volume whereinto is applied the pressure of the drilling fluid, said tank being placed upstream with respect to the turbine, in the vicinity thereof and acting as a flow regulating means.
Abstract:
Abstract:
Abstract:
The invention relates to a structural component in the form of a parting element (10) which extends in two different main directions (12,13), is of at least single-layer design and is elastically flexible, which parting element (10) has at least two linear structural parts (18) which are arranged offset with respect to one another in the two main directions (12,13). As a result of at least a part of the linear structural parts (18) having a loop-shaped cross section and as a result of the parting element (10) being formed at least partially from a substance which has a fluoroplastic material, preferably a substance composed entirely of fluoroplastic material, a structural component is obtained which is characterized not only by excellent diffusion impermeability but also by particularly good mechanical properties such as extreme bending fatigue strength.
