    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent release of compressed air in a vessel with discharge of a drain, by connecting a drain discharge valve to the bottom part of the air accumulator vessel and pneumatically providing a lock valve in series to said discharge valve. CONSTITUTION:A drain discharge valve 6 is connected to the bottom part of a vessel 1 of air accumulator, and a lock valve 8 is pneumatically arranged in series to the discharge valve, then a branch pipe 9 divided from an air supply pipe 3 is connected to said lock valve 8. Further a drain release pipe 7 is connected to said lock valve 8. Further there are provided in the vessel 1 an air filler pipe 2 from an air compressor air supply pipe 3, feeding compressed air to air equipments, and a safety valve 4. The lock valve 8 is operated by pressure from the pipe 9 in such a manner that it is in an open state when pressure in the vessel 1 is of a normal valve while it is closed when the pressure is abnormally lowered. In this way, a pressure drop in the air vessel 1 can be automatically held to within a specified value.
