Abstract: PURPOSE: An agrochemical formulation which is easy to handle and has slow degradation of biodegradable resin and effectively controlled elution of agrochemicals to the outside of the formulation by only one application is provided which solves causing harm to the human body and environmental pollution by application of an excess amount of agrochemicals. CONSTITUTION: A composition containing 10 to 90% by weight of biodegradable resin, 90 to 10% by weight of organic matter or inorganic matter and an effective amount of agricultural chemicals is compounded and then molded into the shape of a sheet or a plate to produce a control-release agrochemical formulation. The biodegradable resin is prepared by polymerization of one or more selected from the group consisting of dicarboxylic acid of the formula:HO-C(O)-R1-C(O)-OH, alkylester thereof and anhydride as an acidic monomer and one ore more diols of the formula:OH-R2-OH as an alcoholic monomer. In formula, R1 is C0-30 substituted or unsubstituted alkylene, R2 is C2-20 substituted or unsubstituted alkylene.

Abstract: PURPOSE: Provided is a method for purifying yellow soil to purify micro particulates which can enhancing properties of yellow soil, thereby increasing efficiency of utilizing yellow soil. CONSTITUTION: In order to purify yellow soil, red-brown yellow soil(weathered soil) which does not contain organisms is taken into a reservoir. The yellow soil is mixed with water in a ratio of 100 to 200 g of yellow soil per 1 liter of water to form a suspension. The suspension contains either 0.7 to 1.0 g of sodium phosphate (Na3PO4) or 1.3 to 1.6 g of sodium carbonate (Na2CO3). From the reservoir a suspension containing clay minerals having a particle size of 2 micrometer, and subjected to dehydration and drying.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A heat resistant gene derived from fungi and a nucleotide sequence thereof are provided, therefore the heat resistant gene can be effectively used in developing transformed plants showing heat resistance. CONSTITUTION: The heat resistant gene is related to heat shock protein isolated from basidiomycetes, in particular, the heat resistant gene hsp104 represented by the sequence number 1 and coding the heat shock protein HSP 104 which is represented by the sequence number 2 and isolated from Pleurotus sajor-caju. The transformed plants may be produced by transforming with the heat resistant gene hsp104. The heat resistant gene hsp104 is isolated by preparing cDNA library of Pleurotus sajor-caju ASI 2070; amplifying the cDNA by PCR using a prime; and determining the base sequence of hsp104 gene by cloning it into a plasmid vector.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A method for preparing a kind of drink from unripe oranges to be thrown away is provided to serve high functionality orange drinks with increasing farm income and preventing environmental pollution caused by the fruit wastes. CONSTITUTION: The method includes the following steps of: (i) crushing and squeezing oranges washed and peeled to get orange juice; (ii) filtrating the orange juice 2 times by using a diatomite filter and a precise filter; (iii) diluting the filtrated juice to contain 0.5-1% of acid and adding at least one or more of sugar chosen among oligosaccharide, sugar and liquid fructose to the juice to contain a sugar content of 10-12 brix; and (iv) sealing up the resulting juice in a container and fermenting the juice.

Abstract: PURPOSE: The subject formulation having a fast-acting property and a residual effect and stably, gradually releasing an active ingredient in an effective amount during a desired period by blending biodegradable resin and an agricultural chemical and building in the form of a pin is provided, which resolves environmental pollution problems caused by using an excess amount of agricultural chemicals and is environmentally favorable. The biodegradable resin is thermoplastic aliphatic polyester of the formula: -(O-R2-O-CO-R1-CO)n- prepared by polymerizing one or more selected from the group consisting of dicarboxylic acid of the formula: HO-CO-R1-CO-OH as a monomer and one or more diols of the formula: OH-R2-OH as an alcoholic monomer. In formula, R1 is C0-30 substituted or nonsubstituted alkylene, its C1-C3 alkylester and anhydride, n is a repeating unit.
