    Abstract: The present invention provides photosensitive compositions of high sensitivity comprising a photosensitive furylacrylylcontaining polymer having a polymerization degree of 500 or more wherein the furylacrylyl group is the photosensitive component of said polymer and wherein said furylacrylyl-containing polymer has been produced by the aqueous alkaline process. The photosensitive compositions are preferably mixtures of a photosensitive polymer and a sensitizer and/or other polymers.
