Abstract:
PURPOSE: A standing apparatus for downer cows is provided to carry downer cows into a trailer, and to stand them by using buoyancy of water accommodated in the trailer. CONSTITUTION: A standing apparatus for downer cows comprises: a trailer (1) formed with an accommodating space (11) accommodating downer cows and water, and installed in a way a back door (12) can be opened and closed; a drawing means (2) carrying the downer cows into the trailer automatically by being installed in front of the trailer; and a lifting means (3) lifting the downer cows automatically to be separated from the floor of the trailer by being installed in the middle of the trailer. A rope (21) is reeled in the lifting means, a through-hole (13) is formed in a side of the trailer to make the rope be passed through. The lifting means comprises an electric winch which moves by winding or releasing the rope by rotating a drum with a rotating power of a motor whose speed is reduced by a speed reducer.

PURPOSE: A euthanasia processing apparatus for domestic animals is provided to perform euthanasia for a large amount of domestic animals at once, and to carry the domestic animals to the performing place rapidly. CONSTITUTION: A euthanasia processing apparatus comprises: a container (1) accommodating domestic animals; an opening and closing means (2) opening and closing a door (100) formed on both sides of the container by being installed on both upper parts of the container; an elevating means (3) elevating the container by being installed on a lower part of the container; and a gas form supplying means (4) providing gas form into the container by being installed on the upper part of the container. The opening and closing means comprises: a fixing bracket (21) installed on the door of the container; a fluid pressure cylinder (23) hinge-combined with the fixing bracket in a structure to be rotated, and elevating the door by operating an actuating rod (231) according to the supply of fluid pressure.

A method for preparing a functional composition comprises the steps of hot water extracting a mixture comprising Angelicae Gigantis Radix, the corm of a hemp, Glycyrrhizae Radix, Rehmanniae Radix Preparata, Cyperus rotundus L., Cnidium officinale, Paeonia suffruticosa Andrews., Taraxacum platycarpum, Phragmites communis Trin., Paeonia japonica, turmeric, Phellodendron amurense RUPR. and Curcuma aromatica Salisbury; inoculating yeast to the culture medium containing the extract and culturing it under the anaerobic condition; and inoculating lactobacillus to the cultured one and culturing it.

A step down milk feeding method for minimizing weaning stress of a new born calf is provided to make a calf maintained in a high nutrition state before weaning to reduce weaning stress. In a step down milk feeding method for minimizing weaning stress of a new born calf, milk in an amount that is up to 15-25% of the weight of a calf is fed according to the weight of an individual calf for the early three to four weeks. Then, the amount of the milk is reduced to 8-15% of the weight of the calf for 3 to 7 days before weaning. The reduced amount of milk is compensated by using water. Then, milk in an amount that is 8-15% of the weight of the calf is fed for each calf from the fifth week to sixth or eighth week.

A lipopolysaccharide(LPS) isolated from bacteria in uterine of cow is provided to be injected into the uterine to improve the inside immuno-function and allow polymorphonuclear leukocyte to detect the bacteria in the uterine, thereby improving the environment of the uterine of the cow, preventing endometritis, and increasing conception rate. The agent for improving uterine environment in cow is characterized in that 10-700mug of LPS isolated from Bacteroides helcogenes and Fusobacterium varium commonly detected from uterines of a normal cow and an abnormal cow is injected into the uterine of the cow.
