    Abstract: The present invention relates to a highly-reliable reflective sheet for an LCD backlight unit and a manufacturing method thereof. In the highly-reliable reflective sheet for an LCD backlight unit, soft spherical particles having a size of 1 to 100 um are applied and coated on one surface of a reflective sheet or a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) film, where pores are formed inside a base material, to give a slip feature, and an adhesive is applied for lamination on the other surface of the reflective sheet or the PET film to increase stiffness and improve reliability. The highly-reliable reflective sheet for an LCD backlight unit having the structure described above, given in the present invention, resolves a surface crack problem by granting a slip feature by coating one surface; increases stiffness of the base material by laminating the reflective sheet or the PET film on the other surface using an adhesive to suppress crumpling and creasing of a sheet and improve reliability. As a result, by improving the crack feature of the surface in contact with a light guide plate while having a high-power and slim backlight structure, the present invention is able to prevent surface damage due to vibrations during transportation and movement and remove crumpling and creasing on the reflective sheet due to the high power of an LED light source, thereby resolving the existing problems.
