Abstract: PURPOSE: A tape carrier package and a liquid display module using the tape carrier package are provided to make the tape carrier package endure much stress imposed on it in order to increase the life cycle. CONSTITUTION: A tape carrier package and a liquid display module using the tape carrier package include a first film(10), a plurality of conduction leads, a semiconductor chip(20), and a second film. The first film(10) is made of an insulator material, and includes a first surface and a second surface corresponding to the first surface. The plurality of conduction leads are formed on the first surface of the first film(10). The semiconductor chip(20) is loaded on the plurality of conduction leads, and include a plurality of input and output nodes coupled with the plurality of conduction leads. The second film covers the conduction leads so as a predetermined length of the input and output nodes of the conduction leads are exposed. At least one lead of the conduction leads located in the output nodes of the conduction leads include a part with second predetermined width wider than a first width of other conduction leads.

Abstract: 이러한 과제를 해결하기 위한 본 발명에 따른 프린트 배선 기판은 회로 배선이 형성되어 있고, 한쪽 끝 부분은 단차가 있어 그 두께가 기판보다 좁으며, 단차면에는 금속 패턴이 형성되어 있다. 또는 그 단차면에 금속 패턴이 둘려 있는 개구부가 형성되어 있다. 이때, 금속 패턴 또는 개구부가 형성되어 있는 단차부의 두께는 프린트 배선 기판의 반 이상의 두께를 갖는 것이 바람직하다.
