Abstract: A drain apparatus and a washing machine including the same is provided to effectively filter the foreign materials of the washing water in the filter room in order not to flowing into the pump room, and to make the washing water flow within the filter room smooth. A drain apparatus comprises a drainage case(30) in which a filter room(F) and a pump room(P) connected to each other are formed. In the filter room, a filter member(40) for filtering the foreign material included in the washing water is provided. In the pump room, the washing water is discharged compulsory. The filter member has a cross section gradually extended toward the pump room and an end apart from an inlet port(52) of the pump room.

Abstract: A washing machine is provided to prevent damage to an anti-vibration rubber by not allowing an excessive engagement force to be transmitted to a pump case and an assembling member. A washing machine comprises a pump case(30), an anti-vibration rubber(40), and assembling member(50), and an anti-loosening member(60). The pump case is installed in a housing(20) to contain a pump. The anti-vibration rubber is formed at a connection between the pump case and the housing.
