PURPOSE: An image providing system and an image providing method for the same are provided to easily supply an image to a user who does not hold a photographing device. CONSTITUTION: At least one image acquisition device(100) includes an identifying unit(110) and an imaging unit(120). The identifying unit senses the identification information for identifying a user. If the identification information is detected by the identifying unit, the imaging unit photographs an image including a user corresponding to the sensed identification information. An image processing apparatus and a method thereof are provided to display a video with improved quality by performing motion compensation by using an adjacent frame with respect to an area where the number of adjacent blocks is small. An image processing apparatus(100) comprises a first motion compensation unit(10), a second motion compensation unit(20), and a controller(30). A video frame is divided into blocks of a predetermined unit. By using a motion vector of an adjacent block adjacent to a current block, motion compensation for at least a partial area of a current frame is performed. The second motion compensation unit compensates the motion by using the motion vector of the adjacent frame adjacent to the current frame. If the number of the adjacent blocks capable of displaying a video among the adjacent blocks is bigger than a preset value, the controller controls the first motion compensation unit so as to perform motion compensation. If not so, the controller controls the second motion compensation unit so as to perform motion compensation.

A method for recovering a file system in a portable terminal is provided to use a directory or file stored in an HDD(Hard Disk Drive) stably in case an error is generated at the HDD, by backing up the metadata of the HDD and restoring the file system of the HDD. A control part accesses an MP3 player mode according to a user's request(S301). The control part judges whether it is possible to extract metadata for the MP3 player mode(S303). If it is possible to extract the metadata, the control part extracts the metadata and stores the extracted metadata in a memory(S305). However, in case it is impossible to extract the metadata, the control part extracts previously stored metadata from the memory(S307). Then the control part copies the extracted meta data to an HDD(S309). If the reproduction of the metadata to the HDD is completed, the control part judges that recovery for the file system of the HDD has been completed(S310).

A method for processing a text message received during outputting digital broadcasting data in a mobile communication terminal is provided to display the received text message on the part of a digital broadcasting output screen if a display unit is rotated and a current mode is converted into a second display mode, thereby enabling a user to easily confirm the received text message only by rotating the display unit when the text message is received while the user views digital broadcasting in a horizontal mode. A method for processing a text message received during outputting digital broadcasting data in a mobile communication terminal comprises the following steps of: receiving the text message during outputting digital broadcasting in a first display mode(S110,S120); and displaying a received text message on the part of a digital broadcasting output screen if a display unit is rotated and a mode of the mobile communication terminal is converted into a second display mode(S140,S150).
