    Abstract: PURPOSE: An inorganic artificial marble and a composition for inorganic artificial marble are provided to ensure decoloration resistance and durability with excellent strength. CONSTITUTION: An inorganic artificial marble made of inorganic matrix. The pH concentration of the inorganic artificial marble is 6-8. The inorganic matrix contains inorganic powder and activator. The activator is alkali metallic silicate compound, alkali earth metallic silicate compound, or mixture thereof. The inorganic powder comprises Al, Si, and O. An inorganic artificial marble composition contains 1-50 weight% of inorganic matrix and 50-99 weight% of chip ingredient.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A composition for artificial marble is provided to improve its mechanical properties, without requiring a pretreatment of a coupling agent or mixing excessive amount of a coupling agent. CONSTITUTION: The composition for artificial marble comprises: 100 pts.wt of an acryl resin; 0.3-10 pts.wt. of a crosslinking agent; 120-200 pts.wt. of an inorganic filler; 0.1-10 pts.wt. of a polymerization initiator; 0-150 pts.wt. of a marble chip and 0.5-1.5 pts.wt. of a mixture of a silane coupling agent and phosphate coupling agent having a functional group of acid or alcohol.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: Provided is a method for preparing a styrene-based copolymer having an improved releasability and beautiful appearance. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises introducing 60-90 parts by weight of styrene, 10-40 parts by weight of acrylonitrile, polymerization initiator consisting of 0.01-0.1 part by weight of azo radical initiator and 0.2 part by weight or less of initiator in the form of peroxide, 0.3-0.6 part by weight of suspension stabilizer, and 0.01 part by weight or less of co-stabilizer at one time and suspension polymerizing them to form a final copolymer having an average particle diameter of 0.3 mm or more. The azo radical initiator is azobisisobutyronitrile, and initiator in the form of peroxide is quaternary butylperbenzoate.
