PURPOSE: A network connection terminal, a network supplying agency, and a network connection method using the same are provided to enable a user to intuitively connect a service and to minimize network resource. CONSTITUTION: An application unit(110) supplies various content to a user from an agency. An information collector(180) collects directional information of an agency image, agency information, and a current user. A managing unit(140) manages the directional information of the user, agency information, and network information. An interface unit(120) displays the agency image and the agency information.

PURPOSE: A home network device control method and apparatus thereof are provided to increase the efficiency of energy consumption in order to control home network device. CONSTITUTION: A home network device controller collects energy price information(S310). The home network device generates a device control plan for the control of the home network device(S320). The apparatus controls the home network device according to a generated control plan. The apparatus decides the change of the information including the tool information and the price of energy information(S340).

PURPOSE: A serial to Ethernet gateway apparatus and a method thereof are provided to efficiently the navigation information received through the Ethernet to a target device through a serial interface. CONSTITUTION: A packet scheduler(140) extracts a data packet from a buffer according to a predetermined policy, and a packet distributing unit(150) checks over the destination address of the extracted data packet. The packet distributing unit obtains serial interface information for at least one target devices to which the extracted data packet is transferred. A serial communication unit(170) transfers the extracted data packet to the target device through the corresponding serial interface based on the serial interface information.

PURPOSE: An integrated gateway communication apparatus and a method of the same are provided to determine an approval for a message based on analyzed traffic information. CONSTITUTION: A policy configuration database(113) stores first information for filtering and switching a message which is received from a sub-network. An apparatus management unit(114) transmits and receives second information related to the sub-network and the interface of the sub-network. Based on the first information and the second information, a layer-filter unit filters and switches the message by each network layer. An integrated switch management unit(112) transmits the first information to the layer-filter unit. The integrated switch management unit controls the operation of the layer-filter unit.

본 발명은 이더넷 네트워크에서 토폴로지 탐색을 위한 갭 분석 방법에 관한 것으로서, 2계층 스위치나 허브로 구성된 네트워크에서 최종적으로 네트워크 시험 결과를 분석하고 호스트가 하나도 없이 연결되어 있는 네트워크 세그먼트, 즉 딥 세그먼트를 실제 네트워크에 근접한 형태로 찾아내어 네트워크 토폴로지를 정확히 파악할 수 있도록 함으로써, 홈 네트워크, 오피스 네트워크 등의 네트워크 환경에서 정확한 갭 분석을 통해 네트워크 토폴로지 정보를 정확히 수집할 수 있고, 관리자가 없는 소규모 이더넷 네트워크에서 정확한 토폴로지를 바탕으로 트래픽 정보 수집하거나 QoS에 민감한 멀티미디어 서비스 제공할 수 있으며, 네트워크 장애 시 보다 정확한 진단 메커니즘의 제공을 통해 네트워크 관리를 손쉽고 정확하게 수행할 수 있도록 하는 이점이 있다. 이더넷, 2계층 스위치, 네트워크 토폴로지

A digital broadcasting system and a broadcasting service method thereof are provided to search broadcasting service information through a separate channel for all broadcasting channels of digital broadcasting retransmitted to an IP network. A broadcasting receiver(21) receives a real-time or stored broadcasting stream from a digital broadcasting receiving unit under IPTV environment. An image information processor(23) compresses image information of the broadcasting stream according to an IP network bandwidth, and sends the compressed information to a terminal by using an IP network channel. A broadcasting information processor(25) generates broadcasting service search information, and transmits the broadcasting service search information to the terminal through another IP network.

A UPnP(Universal Plug and Play) QoS(Quality of Service) network system and a path and resource reservation method thereof are provided to reserve correct network resources and offer a more stable QoS by reserving a network resource according to path information and resource reservation information so that a calculated path can be matched with a path reserved for network resources. A UPnP QoS network system comprises a plurality of UPnP QoS execution devices(210-230) and a UPnP QoS management device(100). Each of the UPnP QoS execution devices collects and provides network state information, reserves network resources according to path information and resource reservation information, and executes QoS for a requested service. The UPnP QoS management device acquires and provides path information and resource reservation information in consideration of the QoS class of a requested service and the network state information provided from an associated UPnP QoS execution device.

A high speed PLC-Ethernet bridge system supporting QoS is provided to supply QoS according to traffic characteristics or characteristics for an application service by solving QoS heterogeneity between two networks. A QoS(Quality of Service) controller(110) controls QoS processing of the whole bridge system. A flow manager(130) stores and manages connection information about QoS information requested for each flow and information necessary to perform a bridge function. A bridge QoS processor(140) performs allocation and management of inner resources of the bridge system and a QoS providing function by referring to the control of the QoS controller and the information stored in the flow manager. A PLC(Power Line Communication) QoS processor(150) performs QoS management function for a PLC network according to the control of the QoS controller. An Ethernet QoS processor(160) manages a link state at Ethernet and provides the management result to the QoS controller.

An SMMD(Single Media Multi Devices)-based ubiquitous home media service device and a method thereof, and a home medium service system and method using the same are provided to enable surrounding devices having various functions for providing a realistic media service to a user through ne-media by generating a ne-media, inputting realistic reproduction information fit for personal propensity of the user and context of the device to the ne-media, and transmitting the ne media to the devices. A database(300) stores sensor information, a device profile, a user profile, and the ne-media. A user interface(310) receives the ne-media by requesting the ne-media to an external ne-media providing server. A ne-media processing manager(320) separates the received ne-media into neo-data, the media comprising audio, video, and text, and sync/control and ID information of each device. An ne-media reproduction manager(330) plays the separated media. A device synch/control manager(340) generates a device group to be linked by collecting information of the surrounding devices, generates a synch signal between the media and the device by using the separated sync information, and records to synch signal to the ne-media. A network manager(350) transmits the ne-media received from the device synch/control manager to the surrounding devices.
