    Abstract: PURPOSE: A structure for mounting locking retainer pin for press is provided to reduce accidents and allow the locking retainer pin to be easily mounted, by eliminating assembling and coupling procedures. CONSTITUTION: A lower steel(3) for loading a panel(1) is mounted on a lower die(5), and a pad(7) which cooperates with the lower steel so as to compress the panel is disposed on the lower steel. A coil spring(33) is fit to the spring retainer of the locking retainer pin, and supported by a retainer plate(35) which is bolt-coupled to the side surface of the upper frame.
