    Abstract: PURPOSE: A locking apparatus of a filler door is provided to call a driver's attention by making a filler door not closed when a fuel cap is not put on, with installing a locking apparatus operated by magnetic force at the filler door. CONSTITUTION: A locking apparatus of a filler door comprises a guide(22) horizontally formed inside a filler door(20); a steel member(24) moving along the guide of forming a U-shaped bent-up unit(25) and a hook(26) to be caught to a locker(15); a spring(27) connected at an end of the steel member to prevent the hook of the steel member from being caught to the locker when a fuel cap(30) is open; a first magnet(41) housed in the bent-up unit of the steel member; and a second magnet(42) built in the inside of the fuel cap to make the first magnet and repulsive force worked. Therefore, the filler door is not closed when the fuel cap is not put on.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A fuel filter for improving the cold startability of a diesel engine is provided to improve cold starting performance by enhancing the preheating efficiency of fuel and to prevent the performance degradation of an element by making the wax in the element molten by the heat of a heating plate. CONSTITUTION: A roll type heating plate(1) has many fuel transmission holes(2). The heating plate is embedded in a housing(4) by being fitted into the circumference of an element(3) in a surrounding manner. Thus, the heating plate is installed adjacent to the element. Upon the inflow of fuel into the housing through a fuel inlet port(5), the fuel is discharged through a fuel outlet port connected to the center of the element after being filtrated through the fuel transmitting holes and the element. If an engine is started, the heating plate is heated and the fuel in the housing is heated before being transferred to a fuel injection nozzle. As the fuel is preheated, the clogging due to solidified wax in the element is avoided and the cold startability of the engine is improved. Additionally, the solidified wax is heated by the heat of the heating plate.
