Abstract: PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for controlling a development of an air bag are provided to improve safety and reliability of passengers of a vehicle by stably and precisely developing the air bag. CONSTITUTION: An air bag developing apparatus includes a window interface section(10), a static current source(20), a microprocessor(40), a regulator(50), a communicating section(60), and a control section. The window interface section(10) detects resistance value changing information from sensors installed in a door glass. The static current source(20) supplies power to the sensors installed in the door glass with a predetermined time interval. The microprocessor(40) generates an air bag developing control signal. The regulator(50) stably supplies power to each load of the air bag developing apparatus. The communicating section(60) sends the air bag developing control signal to a main processor.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A fuel leakage preventing device of a vehicle at a collision and a method thereof are provided to prevent explosion of the vehicle by restricting transfer of fire from damage of a fuel tank with forming the water screen around the fuel tank at a collision. CONSTITUTION: A fuel leakage preventing device of a vehicle is composed of a vehicle collision detecting sensor(100) detecting collision of the vehicle; a control unit(210) outputting a door lock release signal and a coolant ejection signal at a collision; an actuator(300) operating corresponding to the coolant ejection signal from the control unit; first and second coolant opening valves(90,91) opening and closing according to operation of the actuator; and a coolant injection nozzle injecting coolant to the fuel tank for forming the water screen in opening the coolant opening valve. Fuel leak is restricted, and explosion is prevented by forming the water screen with injecting coolant around the fuel tank and insulating the fuel system at a collision.
