Abstract: PURPOSE: A vehicle aerodynamic wind tunnel testing system is provided to obtain aerodynamic characteristics of vehicle body through an accurate test by removing the air pressure difference between the wind tunnel testing unit and balance chamber. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle aerodynamic wind tunnel testing system comprises a balance chamber(21) arranged underneath a turn table(15) at a bottom surface(7) of a wind tunnel testing unit(1), in such a manner that the balance chamber is sealed from outside and includes a balance system(19); and a pressure control unit arranged to the balance chamber, and which detects the air pressure difference between a wheel pad(13) and an interior of the balance chamber and removes the air pressure difference by adjusting the air pressure in the balance chamber. The pressure control unit includes a pressure difference sensor(23) connected to the wind tunnel testing unit, and which detects the air pressure difference between the balance chamber and the wind tunnel testing unit and outputs a signal; an air supply blower(25) arranged at a side of the balance chamber, and which supplies external air into the balance chamber; an exhaust blower(27) arranged at the other side of the balance chamber, and which exhausts air from the balance chamber to outside; and a pressure controller(29) for controlling air pressure in the balance chamber by controlling the rotational frequency of the air supply blower and the exhaust blower in accordance with the signal output from the pressure difference sensor.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A device for measuring pressure of vehicle of a wind tunnel test is provided to supply sufficient data for the cooling of an engine and a brake and the damages of a vehicle body by measuring pressure for wind velocity in the middle as well as in the front and rear of the vehicle in a wind tunnel test. CONSTITUTION: A device for measuring pressure of vehicle of a wind tunnel test is composed of a traverse system(1), a rotary arm assembly and a control unit(30). The traverse system is mounted at the upper part to make a measuring unit(A) of a wind tunnel device move forward and backward the vehicle along a test space, wherein the wind tunnel device measures pressure generated in the vehicle by passing wind through a wind tunnel mutually connected by the vehicle that is positioned at the test space. The rotary arm assembly is mounted to the traverse system by a medium of a traverse adapter(1') to freely rotate and move along the vehicle and measure pressure for a voluntary spot of the vehicle. The control unit operates and controls the rotary arm assembly, and processes and analyzes data for measured pressure of wind velocity.
