    Abstract: PURPOSE: A shock absorber of a vehicle is provided to improve convenience for operators and largely reduce operation time by easily reducing the total length of inner and outer cylinders with less power of the operator in applying external force to the outer cylinder to reduce the total length of the shock absorber. CONSTITUTION: A shock absorber of a vehicle is composed of outer and inner cylinders(11,12) filled with fluid or gas and formed with total length-variable combining bodies; an inner cylinder plate(41) installed in the inner cylinder to divide the inner space of the inner cylinder into upper and lower space units(H,L); a damping force regulating passage formed as a gap between the inner cylinder and the inner cylinder plate; a connecting passage(51) for connecting the outer and inner cylinders; a pipe nut member(53) connected with the connecting passage and protruded upward the outer cylinder; a rotary lever member(55) combined to the pipe nut member and installed to rectilinearly reciprocate along the longitudinal direction of the pipe nut member; a wire member(57) of which one end is fixed and combined to the rotary lever member and the other end is fixed and combined to the inner cylinder plate, passing through the connecting passage; a rotation central-shaft member(59) of which both ends are fixed and installed in the inner cylinder, respectively, passing through the center of the inner cylinder plate; and a torsion spring member(61) of which one end is fixed and disposed in the inner cylinder and the other end is fixed and disposed to the rotation central-shaft member, wound around the rotation central-shaft member.

CONSTITUTION: A shift lever knob for a vehicle is composed of a fixing part(1) fastened in the upper part of the shift lever; a variable part(2) having plural plates(3) connected by crease parts; a hydraulic bag(7) expanded by receiving operating fluid with a fluid pump(9), and placed in the variable part; a pipe(8) connected to the hydraulic bag; the fluid pump pressing fluid; a generator(10) supplying power to the fluid pump; a reservoir(11) storing fluid; and an operating button(12) controlling the fluid pump. The size of the knob is adjusted by regulating distance between plates with charging fluid in the hydraulic bag through the operating button.

CONSTITUTION: An automatic caster adjusting device of wheels is composed of a strut(65) connected to a vehicle body and a wheel(55) through a steering knuckle for buffering; a strut mounting part(60) placed in the vehicle body, and combined with the upper part of the strut to move forward and backward; caster angle detecting units(71,72,73) installed in the vehicle body, and the upper part or the lower part of the strut to detect the caster angle; an ECU(Electronic Control Unit)(75) outputting a caster angle adjusting signal by receiving signals from caster angle detecting units; and a caster adjusting motor(70) installed in the strut mounting part to adjust the caster angle by moving back and forth the upper part of the strut according to the signal from the ECU. The caster angle is adjusted automatically without deviation by moving the strut automatically with detecting the caster angle.
