Abstract: In at least one embodiment, a user equipment (UE) may receive a control signal from a base station to update a target pathloss reference signal from an existing pathloss reference signal. In at least one embodiment, the UE may obtain a plurality of samples of the target pathloss reference signal. In at least one embodiment, the UE may determine, based on obtaining the plurality of samples of the target pathloss reference signal, that the UE is unable to update the target pathloss reference signal. In at least one embodiment, the UE may adjust the uplink transmission power of the UE based on the existing pathloss reference signal or to a maximum transmit power based on said determining that the UE is unable to be updated to the target pathloss reference signal.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) associated with a non-terrestrial network (NTN) is disclosed. The UE comprises a processor configured to determine a first time offset, based on processing a timing offset indication signal comprising the first time offset or an associated parameter, received from a base station. In some embodiments, the first time offset is indicative of a time delay in downlink (DL) to uplink (UL) interaction between the UE and the base station. The processor is further configured to determine a second time offset, based on processing a subsequent timing offset indication signal comprising the second time offset or an associated parameter, received from the base station at a subsequent time instance. In some embodiments, the processor is further configured to update the first time offset with the second time offset.

Abstract: A method and apparatus of a device that determines an occurrence of the DL SPS or the UL CG to determine a periodicity of a packet generation is described. In an exemplary embodiment, the method receives a configuration for a downlink (DL) Semi-Persistent Scheduling (SPS) or an uplink (UL) Configured Grant (CG). The configuration includes an indication of non-integer periodicity of the DL SPS or the UL CG. Additionally, the method determines an occurrence of the DL SPS or the UL CG based on the received configuration for the DL SPS or the UL CG to determine a periodicity of a packet generation. Thereafter, the method transmits or receives data based on the configuration for the DL SPS or the UL CG.

Abstract: Disclosed are methods and systems to coordinate resource allocation between two UEs for sidelink communication. A receiving UE receiving sidelink communication from a transmitting UE may configure coordination resources used to coordinate sidelink communication between the two UEs. The receiving UE may receive from the transmitting UE data indicating resources reserved and intended to be used by the transmitting UE to transmit sidelink data to the receiving UE. The receiving UE may determine a coordination message used to indicate whether the resources reserved by the transmitting UE are available for use by the receiving UE to receive the sidelink data from the transmitting UE. The receiving UE may determine resources from the coordination resources to be used to carry the coordination message and may transmit the coordination message carried on the selected resources to indicate to the transmitting UE whether to use the reserved resources for the sidelink data.
