    Abstract: Systems and methods for utilizing inter -UE coordination regarding reserved resources of a sidelink (SL) resource pool are described herein. A first user equipment (UE) may identify that a first SL resource pool on a first radio access technology (RAT) overlaps with a second SL resource pool on a second RAT, sense for reservation signaling on the second SL resource pool to determine reserved resources on the second SL resource pool, and transmit resource reservation information indicating those reserved resources on SL on the first RAT. A second UE may receive the resource reservation information on the SL, identify, within the first SL resource pool, corresponding resources that overlap with the reserved resources of the second SL resource pool, select, from the first SL resource pool, transmission resources to use for a SL transmission by prioritizing resources other than the corresponding resources; and perform the SL transmission using those transmission resources.

    Abstract: Techniques discussed herein can facilitate the use of reference signals in active TCI switching. A user equipment (UE), comprising: a memory interface; and processing circuitry communicatively coupled to the memory interface and configured to: receive a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) message that includes an activation command indicating a target transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state; decode the activation command within a decoding period, where the decoding period is a time period allocated for the UE to decode the activation command; receive a TCI resource where the TCI resource is a reference signal; perform time and frequency tracking associated with the target TCI state according the TCI resource; and switch to the target TCI state after performing time and frequency tracking.

    Abstract: A user equipment (UE), baseband processor or other network device (e.g., base station, next generation NodeB, etc. ) can operate to process or generate an acknowledgement (ACK) or a non-acknowledgement (NACK) of a beam report to indicate an autonomous transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state update, which can be a TCI update without a corresponding TCI indication /trigger. The UE can determine the ACK /NACK in response to providing the beam report in the autonomous TCI state update. The UE can then activate a TCI state of the autonomous TCI state update in response to identifying the ACK or re-transmit the beam report for autonomous TCI state update when a NACK is recognized.

    Abstract: Apparatus and method are provided for a user equipment (UE) to perform measurement operations for a handover procedure including target NR Primary Secondary Cell (PSCell) change or addition. The measurements of a target PSCell are performed in accordance with a synchronization signal/physical broadcast channel (SS/PBCH) block measurement time configuration (SMTC) included in a measurement object received from a base station (BS). A source primary cell (PCell) is used for reference timing of the SMTC if the measurement object is configured by the source PCell on same frequency and subcarrier spacing of the target PSCell.     Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for a UE to perform measurements of measurement resources transmitted by a network when the UE is configured with multiple concurrent measurement gap patterns (MGPs). The measurement resources may be carried on multiple carrier frequencies. The UE may receive measurement resource configuration parameters identifying time and frequency locations of the measurement resources transmitted on the multiple carrier frequencies. The UE may receive measurement gap configuration parameters for multiple concurrent MGPs specifying measurement intervals that may be used to perform the measurements. The UE may determine a linkage between the measurement resources on a carrier frequency and one of the concurrent MGPs so that the UE may independently measure the measurement resources received on the multiple carrier frequencies using their respectively linked MGPs. The linkage may be made through information elements in the measurement resource configuration parameters or the measurement gap configuration parameters containing the MGP.
