    Abstract: The module-containing fitting is for building into a vehicle fender and has a holding part for fixing it to the fender. The holding part (3) is fitted on the inside of the bumper (1). The holding part is made to received the module (6) in such a way that the head part (7) of the module , after assembly, is fixed to an adjacent outer surface of the fender. The holding part may be glued, injection-moulded or screwed to the bumper, or may have a clip device by which the module can be fitted to and removed from the fender.
