    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable high speed recording, ultra high fine recording, simple process, and clear good color reproducing full color recording to be simultaneously satisfied, by a method wherein a transfer recording medium of which properties are quickly changed when heat energy owing to light and electron beam are simultaneously applied, is used. CONSTITUTION:An electron beam pulse based on an signal is given with a solid electron beam generator 54 to an ink donor film (IDF) 1, a multicolor recording medium prepared by arranging a transfer recording layer of which melt viscosity or softering point increases by irradiation of light under a state of being melted or softened by heat sent from a feed roll to a film. A heat pulse is given to the IDF 1 and at the same time, light of a different wavelength is successively applied from lamps 53c-3f synchronized with the heat pulse based on the (color) image signal. A transfer image is formed on a transfer recording layer 1a with the solid electron beam generator 54 and the lamps 53c-3f, and is transferred to a medium 60 to be transferred by a heat roll 58 and a pinch roller 59.

The maximum values of the absolute values of the voltage supplied to a scanning electrode Xi and a signal electrode Yi are assumed to be Vw and Vi respectively. The voltage are set so as to realize following relations. Vw+Vi>=Vfm, Vfo>=Vw-Vi>=Vsm. Thus, because a low voltage resisting element can be used in numerous signal electrode side driving circuits, the cost of the drive circuit can be reduced, and the power consumption can be reduced as well.

The array 14 is unified by arranging (n) number of deflecting elements X1-n in a line along the optical path and the reflection optical member 15 is arranged in a position opposite to the array 14. And the laser beam from the light source 10 passes through the above-mentioned optical path and deflected by 90 deg. in the deflecting element X to be incident perpendicular to the reflection optical member 15. The light beam is vertically reflected in the member 15 and deflected in the corresponding deflecting element X, the quarter wavelength plate 13 and the beam splitter 12 so as to be incident on the photodetector 16 and photoelectrically converted. Therefore, by shielding the light beam on a scanning plane with a pencil 20, etc., a reading output signal is not outputted from the photodetector 16 and the coordinate is detected.

Therefore, light generated by discharge in the region of short wavelength is guided to an element surface by the shading means of these layers. When a face plate 8 and the shading means are set to be prescribed values in their thickness, diffusion of light is suppressed on the surface and so the light is radiated in a spotted shape, and this element can be formed without blur and with high resolution. Moreover, cross talk generated due to interaction between discharge points can be suppressed by the members 10.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable high-speed recording and super high precision recording by employing a multinozzle ink ejection device and allowing ink droplets to be charged through projection of an electron beam, especially, employing a solid electron beam generator provided with a plurality of electron beam sources. CONSTITUTION:An electron beam generator 2 has the same number of electron beam source as that of nozzles of a liquid droplet ejector 1, and the electron beam sources are so arranged that the electron beam may be projected to flying liquid droplets ejected from the liquid droplet ejector 1. A deflecting electrode 4 applies a prearranged electric field to liquid droplets, and the liquid droplets reach a recording paper 6 or a recovery plate 5 depending on whether the electron beam is projected by the electron beam generator 2. A desired color pattern is recorded in an ink on the recording paper 6 by controlling the transport rate of the recording paper 6 by a roller 7 and the oscillation frequency of a piezoelectric element 11, and synchronizing the timing of liquid droplet ejection from the liquid droplet ejector 1 and an image signal which is input to a signal terminal 12. If an electrode is provided on the recording paper 6 and a positive potential is given to the electrode, charge liquid droplets are attracted to the recording paper, thus improving a recording speed.
