SOLUTION: The desalting device including a vacuum means 6, the solar heat collector 1, an evaporation apparatus 2 which has plural evaporators connected in a multiple-effect relation and a condenser 3-1 is provided with a heat medium temperature detecting means 31 for detecting the temperature of the heat medium near a heat medium outlet of the solar thermal collector 1 and a raw water flow rate control motor-operated valve 33 for controlling the flow rate of the raw water supplied from a raw water source and is provided with an operation/stop control means for controlling the outlet temperature of the solar thermal collector 1 of the heat medium so as to be kept at a prescribed temperature or below the prescribed temperature by controlling the flow rate W of the raw water supplied by the raw water flow rate control motor-operated valve 33.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide desalting equipment which eliminates the need for providing a power source equipment having solar batteries with a battery, obviates the destruction of vacuum even in sudden clouding and rapid drop of generated electric energy, prevents the occurrence of leaking of concentrated raw water and contamination of freshwater by the sudden stoppage of a concentrated raw water discharge pump and freshwater discharge pump and further little in maintenance work. SOLUTION: The desalting equipment including a solar heat collector, an evaporation apparatus which has plural evaporators connected connected in a multiple-effect relation, a cooling column and a vacuum means is provided with the solar batteries 41 for obtaining the electric power to drive the DC and AC driven electric apparatus included in the desalting equipment, a DC transformation means 42 and a DC/AC conversion means 43 for converting the output of the DC transformation means 42 to AC. The equipment inputs the output of the solar batteries 41 to the DC voltage transformation means 42 without via the battery, supplies the output of the DC transformation means 42 to the DC driven electric apparatus and supplies the AC output of the DC/AC conversion means 43 to the AC driven electric apparatus.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cultivation method capable of enabling the cultivation by close planting of perennial field crops requiring the cultivation of a parent plant for a long period regardless of soil characteristics of a region and without diffusing injury by continuous cropping, and disease. SOLUTION: This method for cultivating perennial field crops is characterized in that the perennial field crops are separately transplanted in a divided vessel filled with coarse soil comprising volcanic pumice and having 1-5.6 mm particle diameter and porous surface. A culturing liquid is preferably fed by a drip gravity-feed irrigation method, and the perennial field crop is preferably pineapple. Preferably, the pH of the culturing liquid is regulated so as to be 4-8, and the divided vessel is arranged in a greenhouse. The divided vessel preferably has about 24 cm diameter and about 30 cm depth, is filled with about 7 liter pumice medium, and has a drainage hole in the side wall at the vicinity of the bottom.
