    Abstract: The invention includes lubricant concentrate and use solution compositions having an amine compound of the formula, R1-O-R2-NH2, R1-O-R2-NH-R3-NH2, and mixtures thereof wherein R1 may be a linear saturated or unsaturated C6-C18 alkyl, R2 is a linear or branched C1-C8 alkyl, and R3 may be a linear or branched C1-C8 alkyl. The concentrate also comprises an acidulant, optionally a stabilizing hydrotrope, and a surfactant. The lubricant use solution resulting from dilution of the concentrate has an amine compound in a concentration ranging from about 10 ppm to 10000 ppm. Also disclosed is a method of lubricating a conveyor system which includes providing a use solution of the lubricant concentrate composition.

    Abstract: The invention is a lubricant concentrate composition, use solution, and method of use. The lubricant includes amine compounds of the formula, R1-O-R2-NH2, R1-O-R2-NH-R3-NH2, and mixtures thereof wherein R1 may be a linear C6-C18 alkyl, R2 may be a linear or branched C1-C8 alkyl, and R3 may be a linear C1-C8 alkyl, and a corrosion inhibitor. The lubricant composition preferably includes a polycarboxylic acid as a corrosion inhibitor. The composition may also include a hydrotrope, stabilizer, and a surfactant to provide detergency to the composition upon dilution and use. The invention also includes a lubricant use solution resulting from dilution of this concentrate.

    Abstract: Lubricating solutions are used on conveying systems in the beverage industry during the filling of containers with beverages.     Abstract: A touchless car wash composition, that can be made from a concentrate and diluted to use concentration using commonly available service water can comprise an ether amine or diamine in particular a fatty ether amine or diamine. The novel compositions are typically free of hydrocarbon solvents and silicone materials that are common in prior art compositions. The compositions are used in touchless car wash processes in which the materials are sprayed in the form of an aqueous dilute solution to remove soil from the vehicle surface. The aqueous compositions are self removing and very small amounts of the aqueous solutions remain to create water spotting on cleaned vehicle surfaces. The novel compositions of the invention can also contain a variety of other ingredients in a fully formulated system. Such ingredients include rapid dewatering of painted surfaces, improved cleanliness of glass and painted surfaces. A substantial reduction of water spotting and concentrates stability. When used in systems using the direct contact between a brush, the friction between the brush and the vehicle surface is substantially reduced.

    Abstract: A peroxyacid antimicrobial concentrate and use composition is provided comprising a C1 to C4 peroxycarboxylic acid or a C1 to C4 peroxycarboxylic acid combined with a C6 to C18 peroxyacid in beverage processing. The combination of these materials produces a synergistic effect, providing a much more potent biocide than can be obtained by using these components separately. Other components can be added to the composition such as hydrotrope coupling agents, stabilizers, etc. An effective antimicrobial use solution is formed at low concentrations when the concentrate composition is diluted with water to a pH in the range of about 2 to 8. Sanitizing of substantially fixed, "in-place" processing lines in dairies, breweries, and other food and beverage processing operations is one utility of the composition. Another utility is in processes including aseptic cold filling of beverage containers such as cans, glass bottles or two liter PET bottles.

    Abstract: An interactive dispenser, used to provide a powdered, liquid or personal use or care chemical, can provide a message prompted by the proximity of a user to a sensor. Personal care liquids can include hand cleaners, hand and body lotion, sun blocks, sun screens, poison ivy treatment materials, burn ointments, body powders, solid hand soap bars, etc. A variety of messages can be provided to the user including a reminder to use the materials provided by the dispenser, instructional information, safety information, use directions for the chemical, use directions for the dispenser, or any other message. The message can be provided in a visual message such as an electronic scroll, an aural message derived from an electronic voice synthesizer. Such a message can be combined with a musical program, other light displays, etc. The sensor can be mounted on the dispenser in the form of a push button, an actuator triggered by the installation of new chemical, can be a motion sensor detecting the presence of a user, can be a remote sensor sensing the presence of a user at a remote site from the dispenser, involving the use of equipment used in conjunction with the dispenser such as a urinal, toilet, bathroom sink, etc. The overall purpose of coupling a user proximity generated prompt to generating a message is the improved efficacy of use of the dispenser or its chemical contents.
