Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate filling of a support material into a support hole and to improve accuracy of positioning the support. SOLUTION: An alignment board is constituted by aligning and superimposing an alignment board 1 and an alignment board 2 with the same thickness and the same structure. A support hole 10 formed on each of the alignment boards is tapered, and as the diameter of the top is made larger, a support material 1 can be easily filled into the support hole 10. Also, as the support material 1 filled in the support hole 10 is positioned at two portions of the support hole 10 whose diameter is reduced, the positioning accuracy can be improved.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mass-produce a vaccum airtight vessel with a high yield rate. SOLUTION: Cathode and anode substrates are manufactured, and the multiple printed cathode substrate is cut into plural single cathode substrates 30 at first. Plural cut-off cathode substrates 30 are positioned on the multiple printed anode substrate 10 to be made surface attaching (temporary attaching). A getter box 34 is temporary attached to the substrates 30 to concurrently sealedly mount the multiple printed substrates 10 and 30 and the box 34. Then, the multiple printed substrate 10 is cut into individual vessel. At that time, both substrates are sealedly mounted, thereby eliminatng adverse effect such as cut powder resulting when the substrates are cut, and then exhaust and sealing is made.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a container for a display device in which consists of a cathode substrate and an anode substrate and which, ever when a spacer is disposed between a cathode substrate and an anode substrate, an electron source is not polluted and also a fluorescent material layer is not deteriorated in a container for a display device. CONSTITUTION: Electron released from tip of an emitter cone 9 are accelerated by an anode conductor 6-1 applied with positive voltage against a gate conductor 8, and thus impinge on a fluorescent material layer 6-2, so that the fluorescent material layer 6-2 is excited and makes luminescence. This luminescence is observed through a transparent, anode substrate 5. A spacer 3 is melt attached only its end on the side of the cathode substrate with seal glass 4, so that without irradiation of electrons released to seal glass, lead within seal glass is not liberated.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To secure gaps with ease and high accuracy to manufacture a display panel airtight container of vacuum container structure and at the same time to eliminate the generation of vacuum airtight leakage and further to prevent a display area from being narrowed. CONSTITUTION:A display panel airtight container is provided in which an anode plate 23 with display patterns formed by making a fluorescent material adhere to the surface and a cathode plate 21 with an electron emission source formed in its surface are sealed with frit glass 31 to make airtight container structure. In the sealed position with the frit glass 31, granular materials 30 or rods which are neither melted nor practically softened at the frit glass sealing temperature are arranged. In the required position of a gap part between an anode plate and a cathode plate within the range of display, a space 32 which is softened at the sealing temperature for fixation is arranged.
