Abstract:
The description is given of a sanitary water-outflow fitting, in particular a tub-filling mixer unit, having a water-outflow housing (1) and a jet former for a wide-surface-area water-outlet jet (19), the jet former being arranged in the housing. The water-outflow housing (1) comprises an elongate supply channel (21) which runs essentially perpendicularly to the water-outlet jet (19), tapers in a funnel like manner in the throughflow direction and is bounded by an intermediate wall (37). The intermediate wall (37) has a multiplicity of throughflow holes (51), via which the supply channel (21) is connected to an elongate distributor chamber (11) essentially parallel to it. The distributor chamber (11) has at least one water-outlet channel (9) leading to the water outflow.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a concealed sanitary fitting with a base body that can be connected to at least one water supply- or drain pipe. The concealed sanitary fitting contains at least one functional component that contains at least one water channel, with the functional component attached detachably to the base body with a clamping device in such a way that the water supply- or drain pipe is connected to the water channel in a water conducting manner. The clamping device engages with the functional component in the direction of insertion, when viewed from the side, in such a way that the functional component can be connected to and disconnected from the clamping device by means of a movement parallel to the surface of the panel.
Abstract:
A drive unit with a motor (1), in the drive shaft (5) of which a plug-in pinion (6) with a conical shaft (6a) which can be mounted into a similarly shaped conical seating bore (5a). The plug-in pinion (6) has on its end face a collar bolt (8) proximate to its toothing (7). The drive shaft (5) has an external groove (5b) proximate to the seating bore (5a). A tool is used to mount and dismount the plug-in pinion (6) by grasping the collar bolt (8) and the external groove (5b) and causing them to move relative to one another.
Abstract:
A device for connecting pipelines in a flexible gas-tight manner has a bellows provided at each end with a pipe union which can be connected to a pipeline. The device is characterized in that an insulating cassette in the form of a double tube filled with a temperature-resistant material with excellent heat insulating properties is arranged inside the device.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for dehydrating sewage sludge is described. Sewage sludge is placed into a dehydration chamber. The sewage sludge is heated to convert moisture in the sewage sludge to steam and cause gasification. Steam and gases are drawn from the dehydration chamber into a condenser, where the steam is condensed to form hot water. Gases are drawn from the condenser to a burner.
Abstract:
Previously known circuit boards as components of devices having a housing have a plastic rear wall of the housing and the circuit board creates a connection between at least two printed circuit boards in the housing. Furthermore, processes for the production of three-dimensional printed circuits are known. Taking these as a point of departure, a one-piece circuit board as an integral portion of the housing of the device is created. One that not only produces the function of an electrically-conductive connection between the aforementioned printed circuit boards, but also serves as a mounting for the printed circuit boards, i.e., it can assume mechanical functions. This is solved by virtue of the fact that the rear wall (1) of the housing consists of plastic and embodies a circuit board having metallized strip conductors (2) and flat surfaces (3) that conduct electricity. And, on the interior of the rear wall (1), protruding connectors are moulded. The latter are themselves metallized, and they are, by dint of the strip conductors (2) and/or the flat surfaces (3), connected with one another so as to conduct electricity. The printed circuit boards ( 5) may be connected electrically to the connective media (4). Such circuit boards may be used in devices that provide automation.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a high output radiant heater which uses a heat exchanger to obtain a variety of types of heat from a single power source. The heater is comprised of a housing; a combustion chamber in the housing, the combustion chamber defining a central axis and having an intake end having an intake opening thereat and an exhaust end having a discharge opening thereat, the chamber defining a flow passage for products of combustion along the central axis; a heat exchange chamber surrounding the intake end of the combustion chamber; a heat exchanger disposed within the heat exchange chamber; radiator means defining the exhaust end of the combustion chamber for radiating heat radially outwardly of the exhaust end of the combustion chamber, the radiator having a plurality of fluid flow passages disposed in planes containing the central axis, each of the passages having an inlet end communicating with the combustion chamber and an outlet end opening into the heat exchange chamber, whereby products of combustion enter the passage inlets and flow therealong and into the heat exchange chamber; and reflector means surrounding the radiator means for reflecting axially outwardly of the housing heat radiated by the radiator means.
Abstract:
Thermoplastic molding compositions having improved properties are composed of a mixture of from 99.999 to 90% by weight of a linear polyoxymethylene and from 0.001 to 10% by weight of a branched or cross-linked polyoxymethylene. The linear polyoxymethylenes are homopolymers of formaldehyde or of trioxane or copolymers of trioxane and at least one compound of monofunctional reaction which can be copolymerized with trioxane. The branched or cross-linked polyoxymethylenes are copolymers of trioxane and a multifunctionally reacting compound, or copolymers of trioxane, a monofunctionally reacting compound and a branched or cross-linked polyether. The molding compositions yield shaped articles having improved mechanical properties.
