Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods may provide for multi-session encoding to optimize multiple encoding sessions on Wi-Fi display (WFD) source devices when the WFD source devices are connected to multiple sink devices. The multiple encoding sessions may be optimized with encoding hints that are generated by a compositor and transmitted to a pre-encoding checking device. The encoding session that has the highest encoding resolution is subjected to hierarchical motion estimation (HME) processing, and the encoding sessions that have lower resolutions are optimized based on a motion vector prediction hint generated by the encoding session that has the highest encoding resolution and a scaling factor.

Abstract: Methods, apparatus, systems, and articles of manufacture are disclosed. Example apparatus disclosed herein are to process features extracted from first and second downscaled image frames to determine block classifications for respective blocks of the first and the second downscaled image frames. Disclosed example apparatus are also to generate a map based on the block classifications, the map including values representative of amounts of change associated with blocks of the second downscaled image frame and corresponding blocks of the first downscaled image frame. Disclosed example apparatus are further to adjust a quantization parameter of a full-scale image frame based on the map, the full-scale image frame corresponding to the at least one of the first or the second downscaled image frames.

Abstract: Often when there is a glare on a display screen the user may be able to mitigate the glare by tilting or otherwise moving the screen or changing their viewing position. However, when driving a car there are limited options for overcoming glares on the dashboard, especially when you are driving for a long distance in the same direction. Embodiments are directed to eliminating such glare. Other embodiments are related to mixed reality (MR) and filling in occluded areas.

Abstract: Systems, apparatuses and methods may a performance-enhanced computing system comprising a sensor for measuring luminance values corresponding to light focused onto the sensor at a plurality of pixel locations, a memory including a set of instructions, and a processor. The processor executes a set of instructions causing the system to generate a multi-segment tone mapping curve, generate a set of tone mapping values corresponding to the multi-segment tone mapping curve for equally spaced input values between zero and one for storage into a look up table, and process the luminance values using the look up table to apply the tone mapping curve to the luminance values of the pixels.
