Abstract: According to one embodiment, a display device includes a first substrate including a first basement and a first terminal, a second substrate opposing the first substrate and including a second basement and a second terminal, an organic insulating layer located between the first basement and the second basement, a first hole penetrating the second basement and the organic insulating layer, a second hole penetrating at least one of the second basement and the organic insulating layer and communicating to the first hole and a connecting material provided at least one of the first hole and the second hole to electrically connect the first terminal and the second terminal to each other.

Abstract: According to one embodiment, a display device includes a first substrate, a second substrate, and a connecting material. The first substrate includes a first basement and a first conductive layer. The second substrate includes a second basement and a second conductive layer. The first main surface is opposed to the first conductive layer and is spaced apart from one conductive layer. The second conductive layer provided on the second main surface has a first elongated protrusion. The connecting material comes into contact with the first elongated protrusion and the first conductive layer. The first elongated protrusion is disposed around the hole and surrounds the hole.

Abstract: A display device includes a display panel having a display surface having a display region where an image is displayed and an opposite surface on an opposite side of the display surface, a color separation element placed on the opposite surface side of the display panel and configured to disperse light from a light source and to emit, to the display panel, a plurality of rays of separated light with wavelengths different from each other, and an adhesive portion bonding the display panel to the color separation element.
